Girls, all of you experience "urge for sex" only during ovulation week?

do girls have limited period for sex drive. do they have schedule for sexual urge? but for it's like an alarm clock reminding us how long it had been since we had sex every few hours, which was annoying. we feel urge for sex everyday and our brain is always on alert. we feel frequently sexual urge and there is no schedule for us. we feel self sexual desire without any stimuli.

but i read it girls only feel ''urge for sex only during ovulation week'' and during luteal phase their sexual urge and desire for sex relatively low. so, does it mean if you once get over ovulation week you never need to feel sexual and never need to orgasm.

Do you have shorter period for sex drive and once the schedule pass away your sexual urge die and you don't need to masturbate and don't feel insane urge for sex or any sexual relief? So, in hole life if you pass away those 7 days you never need sex. right?

- During menstruation (1-7) no sexual urge
- Ovulation week (8-14) Somewhat sexual urge but not as strong as guys
- Luteal phase (15-27) PMS, depression, dismissed sex drive.

so once you pass away ovulation week without any sexual relief, rest of the month you can go without any sexual tension. right? girls are not like us, we need to release otherwise we get insane horny. right? so if we want to sex with a girl it's torture? our sex drive always constant but what about your's? Rate those weeks i have mentioned.

  • Nope.

This varies a LOT from woman to woman... and from relationship to relationship.

    __

As for "varying from woman to woman"... lol I should know. I have a pretty ridiculously high sex drive all the time, but, I'm MOST horny -- like to the extent of "insane nympho who'll start smashing things if she's not satisfied" -- DURING the menstrual period. For those few days it's pretty much literal insanity.
On the other hand, I have girlfriends who really just... aren't feeling it much during the menstrual period.

In general, these types of variation are pretty easy to explain -- if the woman has had enough bloodwork done for whatever reason (health, fertility, nutrition/diet issues, athletics, or even psychological symptoms). Women have different "baseline levels" and default balances of hormones, which will translate into different trajectories of sex drive over the whole menstrual cycle.
In my case -- just as an example -- I have relatively low levels of estradiol ("estrogen"), and relatively high testosterone, for a woman.
More aggressive female sex drives -- like mine -- are mostly driven by testosterone, which is DE-activated by another hormone called sex-hormone-binding globulin (SHBG)... and SHBG, in turn, goes up when estrogen levels go up.
In the few days before ovulation, estrogen hits a peak. For women with hormones different from mine, that can correlate with sex drive. For me, that means higher estrogen --> higher SHBG --> LOWER testosterone... so, in general I'm a little LESS horny during my most fertile window.

The point isn't that you should memorize (or even know) all those details... the point is just that every woman has a different hormonal makeup (and it's all totally different if she's on birth control, too), so, you can't take any of these things as givens.

Also... honestly... this is going to vary from relationship to relationship, too.

Without ANY exceptions, among my girlfriends, if a woman is HAPPY with her relationship she's going to want to fuck *all* the time.
Honestly, if you're with a woman who just doesn't want to have sex AT ALL at certain times of her cycle... that might just mean She's Just Not That Into You. Or that she's just not very happy in the relationship, for whatever reason, and is just looking for an easy excuse to avoid intimacy a lot of the time.

(If this is happening, you should rule out actual medical problems first, of course. If it HURTS for her to have sex at certain times, then she should

    • get that checked out!) In other words... the description you wrote ("She can go the rest of the month without any sexual tension") is NOT NORMAL. If that's the case, then, you may want to take a long hard look at yr relationship, and at whether she's getting what she needs/wants out of it. ... You should also look within YOURSELF and figure out whether you really *KNOW* what she needs and wants! (Don't take this the wrong way, but... if you're writing these sorts of sweeping generalizations about how "all" women are at various points in our menstrual cycles, then, empathy is probably something you could use some work on.) Srsly... In that case, COMMUNICATE with yr woman. Something big is probably missing from yr relationship, and it's unlikely that you're going to figure that all out by yourself.

    • very true

  • I've noticed my personal urges to be most prevalent during ovulation week, But I've also randomly been turned on nowhere near my ovulation week. plus, I'm an avid porn watcher, and lately porn has been boring/gross. I know that it can effect sex drive, but i

    • you have not completed your comment. but you...

  • I don't know about other girls but I get intense sexual urges the week before my period. Other days I do get sexual urges but they aren't bad and I don't feel I need a release. Some days I don't even have any.

    • That mean you only get horny the week before your period. Right? Rest of the month except the week before your period you don't feel horny and don't have urge for sex or masturbation? You can go without sexual thought and sexual arousal except those 7 days?

    • No, sometimes I do get horny other days but it isn't as bad and I don't need a release or sex.

  • Women experience the urge for sex every day during the month. Just as men. But yes, there is a fluctuation in hormones during ovulation where she is might be more easily stimulated/aroused.

  • No. Women can experience sexual urges just as frequently as men, it's different for everyone.

  • Well, I'm on the pill so I don't ovulate. But my sex drive tends to go up for several days just before my period.

    • What about other time of the month?

  • It depends really. Personally, I feel the horniest a couple days before and during my period

  • We can feel sexual desire at any time... We're not like some animals who are in heat only during certain periods of time.

    • Science behind that is questionable. I think women have evolved to hide their ‘heat’ from men for cucking purposes. I don’t mean anything inflammatory with that statement, I just think it’s partly true. Lots of girls have said there is a difference between ovulation and biologically driven lust and non ovulation and out of ‘love and emotional closeness.’ I sorta think there is something to this.

  • I do feel the urge during ovulation. I can confirm I ovulate from the spotting and the temperature change.

However, if the sex is not pleasurable i. e. not enough lubrication. Or a argument has occurred then I become a hermit nun who doesn't want any physical contact.

If sex is pleasurable I want more.

If no arguments have happened, emotionally satisfied then I want sex and feel a urge to be with my fiancé.

    • U feel the urge only during ovulation?

    • If its been a month that was stressful with arguments then yes. If its been a good month, less stress, little arguments etc, then urge is always there but magnified on ovulation. :-) However, the urge during ovulation is very different. It actually starts to hurt if there is no contact from my partner. Its like a throbbing feeling in abdomen and also lots of discharge is present. Lubrication is never a problem too.

    • Rest of the month it doesn't hurt if there is no contact from ur partner or if u don't masturbate? For guys it depends on ejaculation. Abstain from it mean more insane desire and stronger urge. It doesn't has a cycle. But what about you? Abstain from sex or masturbation don't increase urges? Or it's totally cyclical? Abstain from it don't hurt u but u only feel like a throbbing feeling in abdomen during ovulation not rest of the month?

  • No, I generally want sex the whole month round, I don't just want it when I'm ovulating. I guess that I could be more horny around that time but nah, it's not just limited to then.

  • it could be just ab any time really

  • I think you may be over thinking human nature

    • I feel guilty.

  • I have sexual urges all the time not depending on any cycle but it does get worse when I am about to have period or during the period time

  • I don't feel special needs during the ovulation week but sure I'm horny a day or two before and during my period.

    • Rest of the month don't feel horny?

    • It happens I feel horny on the other days also, but not as often as the days before and during the period.

    • Not as often as other days mean? Other days - only feel it a night? Once a day? The week before period - how often?

  • not only no but that's when it's strongest
second is from the 4th day of my period.

    • Rest of the month?

    • it varies

  • I want sex during ovulation time leading up to my period. Any other time I do not want it at all

  • I feel the urges during ovulation and after my period.

  • I get really horny afterwards, it feels like i couldnt have sex forever and when it stops i get horny for like 3 whole days. But i am a really horny person most of the times but after that spesific week i get sex drives like crazy

  • I have sexual urges regardless of what stage I am in my cycle. But they are harder to ignore during my ovulation period.
