I believe the vaginal canal is equivalent to the penis shaft. The cervix is equivalent to the penis glans.

The clitoris is nothing but a vestigial piece of tissue. It's what the penis would have been had it stopped developing from the fetus stage. It's just a remnant of a male organ, it serves no evolutionary purpose. Men have nipples for the exact same reason, they are vestigial. Only women need nipples.
That's why I believe female circumcision isn't a big deal as it doesn't remove any female body parts. The clitoris is just a nub, many adult women don't even know it's there until someone tells them about it. Male circumcision however removes the foreskin which protects the glans from the environment and has bearing functions. That's why I believe male circumcision is worse than female circumcision.

If we lived in a culture that had a tradition of cutting off male nipples I wouldn't mind. My nipples aren't important to me, same as the clit is not important to women, they're both vestigial organs that serve no purpose. And the female orgasm is itself a vestigial remnant of a male physiological function, that's why it's much rarer and harder for women to orgasm than it is for men. Men's bodies evolved to orgasm to release ejaculate, but orgasm in women's bodies is just a left-over from the male function as it serves no evolutionary purpose.

There's also no purpose in cutting the clitoris off. The reason they cut the foreskin is because it makes the penis easier to clean, since there's less growing room for bacteria. Basically female circumcision is just removing what gets females off, just bevause they can.
