Nipple piercings?

I'm underage so I still have about a year until I can get them. I don't think about nipple piercings as a sexual thing. At least for me they wouldn't be a completely sexual thing.

I want to get my nipples pierced because my boobs are not big and round and perfectly the same size. Me getting my nipples pierced would be more like a fuck you to the beauty standards. Even a normal looking girl can do what she wishes to do with her body and be what she wants to be.

They would also be kind of a personal thing for me and only the people who are closest to me would know about them. Of course, I do also think that nipple piercings can be good looking and cool. I'm not getting them because I'm just trying to prove some kind of a point.

So, opinions?(You can say anything. You can even say something about them making me look like slut.) Should I really get them? And also if you have your nipples pierced, are they worth it?

I think that as long as it is not legal for women to show their nipples in public, that nipple piercings don't have much use. It's not like it can really be a way to express yourself if you have to keep your nipples covered in public anyway. I think it would be great if women's nipples were de-sexualized as men's nipples, and then perhaps nipple rings could be just like ear rings or whatever. I don't think I would have an opinion on them if that were the case. Still though, do whatever you want with your own body.
