Why do girls dress up to get attention, but then say they don't like when guys give them attention for they way they look?

Why do girls put on tight clothes, that show some skin and go out to have fun but then claim they don't like when guys give them attention based on how they look? Why wear those kind of tight and uncomfortable clothes then?

I was shopping and saw this really attractive girl, she was wearing a skirt and small spaghetti strap top that showed her belly a little. I was thinking of just starting a conversation but thought if I go up to her and say anything, she will think I'm just making a move because I am sexually attracted (based on her looks) and because of that possibly superficial. I don't want to give off the sence that I just came up to talk to her just because she looks fine, but that honestly the truth!

a lot of this could be because girls' friends are dressing up like this and it's all to fit in or whatever lol. but some girls feel like they need to get guys' attention and then reject them just so they can tell their friends. it's weird lol but i've seen it happen. hoped this helped!

i know it's so messed up! i personally don't do this and there are a bunch of girls who don't, it's just hard to find them lol. they just like receiving attention and reactions from other people and then they get cocky. le sigh...

well it all depends. if the girl seems like a genuine person then it's your choice whether to talk to her or not. if she seems like she just wants to go down on a guy or if she's continuing to a hoe like the rest of her friends, probably wouldn't approach her lol. some girls just like wearing skimpy outfits so guys can look at them and make it seem like they get a lot of guys or whatever, but in reality that's not what most of them want lol. i would just say to use your own judgment!

because we want guys to buy drinks for us and they're not always uncomfortable and we're trying to impress our own friends. We comment on it because society makes it seem as if we're sluts if we wear something remotely revealing

Maybe it's for herself, maybe for her friends, maybe for some other guy that isn't a random stranger, and some do dress for strangers. However, I'm pretty sure it's mostly for herself.

Because it's her style? Because she or someone else spent so much money on something and doesn't want it to go to waste? Because she loves herself enough to think that the clothes fit her? The girl might even wear it because why not, or just for kicks because who cares? Unless someone does and makes her feel like she can't wear them without the cat calls and can't look at herself in a shop's window and say "I like this look" without thinking "They think I'm a tramp?". I don't know, why do you dress up the way you do? Maybe it's just like how every other human being does, just as she. You like denim then you go wear it or wear what you feel like wearing. Now on the account of other guys, like I said, it may be for strangers or other guys she already knows! She might be meeting up with her boyfriend or a potential love interest. She might be going to the club to find someone that is to her taste. Simple stuff really. Maybe you'll disagree but that's fine. Just stating my own opinion.
