I actually watched a show where they made those things and I personally wouldn't get into it but thats just my personal taste... I considered them briefly. I took a year off of dating, from March 2016 to around April of this year. During that time I tried to convince myself to just get a puppy and stay single. All women are freaking crazy and untrustworthy, so why keep going through that bullshit. But sex always drives me back. So I looked into the dolls. They are very realistic. They are very expensive. But unlike women toys, they are far from the real thing. My current girlfriend showed me her dildo/vibrator. It looks and feels like a real dick. So they can get away with just using their toys. Men really can't. Besides, it just seemed like a messed up route to take, kinda creepy.
Realldolls aren't better than the real thing yet (still made of rubber instead of meat, among other things) but I'm buying one when they are in a few decades, when the bodies are either cloned celebrities or grown in a lab to buyer's specs and have a 3d crystal brain programmed to be however the buyer wants, presumably as a sex slave. I mean who would want it as a free-will AI? That would mean you just paid $100,000 (perhaps more) for a nearly-real girl. A real one with similar physical attributes and sex skills could have been had for $200-300 an hour.
