Guys, would you be upset if your girlfriend got period blood on your sheets?

Last night, I slept over at my boyfriends apartment. I know that I didn't have my period when I went to sleep last night because he fingered me and we had sex before we fell asleep and I put a clean pair of underwear on. This morning, he woke me up and told me that I had gotten my period. I was wearing a white thong and there was blood all over the front of my legs and his sheets. He was nice about it, got me a glass of water, rubbed my back, and took a shower with me. I apologized and said that I would wash his sheets after work; he told me not to worry about it and kissed my forehead. I bought him new sheets because the stain didn't come out. My boyfriend likes to keep his apartment extremely clean and is picky about his sheet style. Guys, would you be upset if your girlfriend got period blood on your sheets?

  • It's happened a couple of times. Eh.

Sheets get washed, and sheets get replaced. I'm not especially attached to a set of sheets, and I buy a new set every year or so and usually retire a set (to become drop cloths), so... circle of life?

I'd be pissed if SHE didn't care at ALL, but I mean, an accident is an accident and a $40 set of sheets isn't worth getting bent out of shape over. Maybe if they were $400 silk sheets or something, yeah, but I'm not that fancy.

  • Nope not at all, it's an accident and it happens... hydrogen peroxide usually gets them out if you do it fast enough.

  • It happens. I definitely would feel awful if it happened but it's not like you could have helped it, it's an accident! I'm sure it's a bigger deal to you than to him.

  • No, it washes out. It's a normal bodily function that you can't really control

  • I pissed all over my girlfriend's back when I was drunk one night. I woke up in mid flow and realised what was happening. We'd only just started sleeping together. I thought that's that fucked bit she was fine even laughed about whilst i felt like jumping out the window. That's when i realised the person you share your bed with can't disgust you. If you like somebody stuff like that just doesn't bother you. It wouldn't bother me

  • No, it`s not something you can control.

  • I wouldn't be. That's a natural thing...
If my side chick did that, i would probably kick her out lmao

  • Well duh. I'd make her wash the sheets. I'd be pissed if she shat or urinated on those sheets just as much.

  • Nope, not at all it would kind of be annoying to take it out but nothing a good wash can't take off

  • Yes.

I have handled it well but I admit I wasn't too charmed with it. It's just an unexpected expense like any other.

  • Got my red wings that way.

  • Not at all
