Are Strip Clubs worth going to or not?

I've been to less than handful in my life, never my idea. Usually after the first 5 or so minutes there I tend to get bored and leave. Even though I rarely go I figured I'd ask to see what others thought.

I want to start. first by addressing an excuse I've heard all to often. its never my idea. unless someone who would be a friend of yours is holding a gun to your head. then you cnoose to go there. on your owbpn accord. it dosnt matter if your there for 1 minute or 10 hours. the fact. is you went in. at least man up and take ownership for what you did. are they worth going to Of cource their not worth going to. wht are you gonna get. well lets see. many places. have a 10 dollar cover to get in. then your going to pay 5 dollars per do estic beer you have. or 10 dollars for a watered down mixed drink. your going to tip the g (rls between a total of 5 to 500 dollars while. inside. of you nust want to watch. or to het a lap dance. thats a. o touch lap dance. depending on where you live. although I. olonger drink a y alchole. if I did. I would certai ly rather spend 2o dollars for a six pack of the beer i like and a. ottle of wine my girl likes. and then watch a rented movie. where we get to cuddle with each other and even more. once we get behind closed doors. Im just tired of hearing the same excuse from so many differennt guys. ots really sad. I spend 20 dollars. and you get to spend around. 750 dollars. If you have all that money to throw away. feel free to theow ot y way. I ckuld always use an extra 730 dollars a month

If you want to go for a laugh with a few friends, and it's just some entertainment to you, then, sure, it can be worth it.

If you are going there because you hope to get some sex - or even something close to sex - or worst of all, to try to take a girl home with you - then you are wasting your time and will waste a LOT of money on very little. The girls will tell you anything you want to hear in order to empty out your wallet, but once the money is gone, they will be too - and they won't have done much except rub against you a bit and made you believe they were into you. Really, though, they see you as a wallet with legs.

My husband used to go in his single days, as soon as he was old enough to go that's where he started his weekends off with his mates.
The last time he went to one was for his bucks night (so original)🙄
The guys bought him a lap dance.
That didn't bother me, but it would bother me if started going now
Is it worth it, I can't really say.

Not worth it in my opinion. I have only been to one strip club, back when I was 17. At that time it was fun and exciting but even there I got a little bored after a while. Luckily, I had a good friend with me, so we could talk about the girls and make some stupid jokes. But I mean... it's basically like watching porn, except that some dude expects you to order an overpriced drink. So, after finishing our whiskey-cola, we left again. I feel like going to a strip club is something every young guy should have done at one point but it's not something I consider important or interesting enough to do it again.

It's never 'worth it' as such. The money that you spend is pissed up the wall, but the same could be said with going out drinking. It's entertainment that you have in the moment and then it's gone. If you feel that having a naked girl grinding on your lap is worth the money then go for it. You don't walk away with anything except maybe a stain on your pants and an empty wallet.

I like to thing of strip clubs as "Adult Entertainment".
As a guy, I like to look at women dancing and showing of their bits and all. It is fun, very sensual, and definitely entertainment made for men, and the few women who enjoy that sort of thing.
It is not for everyone, like most things on the 'edge'.

It really depends on what you mean by "worth it" and what you're wanting/looking for in going to one. Also depends on the strip club as they can vary greatly. No doubt it's expensive all around. Even if you don't get dances, drinks alone can cost you enough. If you're going for the visual entertainment, and something to do with friends, it's a lot of fun. Some of the women are friendly and nice and some give great dances. But again, you'll spend money for sure. But if you don't mind that, it's a fun night out.

It is worth it as an experience.
It's not worth it if you don't have EXTRA cash, having a debt because of it, having difficulties getting relationships over it or losing relationship over it - if you care about relationships.

but my parents used to hang out with at a strip club apparently when my dad was still in the air force and their roommate and one of the strippers started dating and got married, and apparently the roommate and the stripper now have been happily married for over 20 years and have kids.
