  • In my honest opinion, I don't think there should be so much ass and boob's visible at every corner you turn. You can't watch a movie, music video, or see pictures these days without girls just being completely revealing, and drooling over them. Women shouldn't be broadcasting themselves so publicly. And men shouldn't be judging women on their bodies as much as they do. Our world revolves around sex. Everyone can't see passed it, cause sex sells. Porn should be for 18 and up. All it does is train these young guys and girls to view each other as sexual objects. Or like casual sex is no big deal. It seems the world has forgotten what sex should be about, two people who care for each other. The world has more hook up sites then dating sites at this point. I mean really, there's a full world out there to discover. How about googling cooking recipes for a change. 😂

    • seems like it also gobbles up free time, reducing productivity and life enjoyment. not to mention conditioning like this conflicts with natural sex urges and makes us want what we can't have.

  • Neuropsychologist, psychiatrists and sexual addiction counselor all pretty much concur it is having an impact.

Like any stimulant to the brain it takes more and more to achieve satisfaction. So when you have 100's of hours of pretty hardcore porn under your belt before you touch a woman it can make it hard to have the natural reaction you would otherwise and also the kind of intimacy you try to achieve.

I can't imagine being in a 14 year olds shoes witjchthe easy access but also wanting to know what realistically happens and is healthy. I guess just know one is a porno fantasy you'd never want to put someone you cared about through and then reality is something else.

Too much porn renetworks sexuality pathways in the brain and makes it harder to get off from real sex the earlier and longer you're exposed to it.

  • Yeah it affects everyone in some way or another. But saying a person in general, There is studies that show that men who watch a lot of porn have too much expectations out of a woman. And for a woman, the bad thing is usually if she masturbates a lot she might only be able to get off the way she can make herself cum. I think men have the same problem but I don't remember. But for me it helped when I stopped masturbating it made me for prone to be able to cum with a guy penetrating me because the only way I could make myself cum was through penetration and clitiral stimulation. Since I don't mastuabate often I can now cum through sex penetration alone so I'm happy :) relevantmagazine.com/.../5-ways-porn-ruins-relationships

    • Ya men get can get ED if addicted to porn. The affects are worse on men

  • With young adolescent girls and boys it's creating a false expectations, and they're going to think that the porn is the 'normal way' to have sex when they are old enough to be intimate. It's being overused in society, that's why they should only allow amateur porn instead of all of that other shit.

    • That would be impossible to implement, but young guys are seeing hardcore so early in their lives

    • Exactly, but a kid accessing porn for the first time doesn't know that's not the way that people normally have sex.

    • Eh the first time I watched porn I was suspicious of it xD

  • Porn is actually processed in the same part of the brain as basic survival needs like food and water, so it easily becomes an addiction as powerful as cocaine. on the outside avid porn viewers tend to be less socially inept and are more introverted even if they were extroverted pre exposure. Additionally, porn can hinder the viewer's memory, filling it with images of the objectified female/male body. The point is, porn may seem purely harmless, but it does have some severe side effects.

  • through repeated exposure they ate dumbing the population and making us into drones who want only what the mass media tells us is good. however some men and women are smarter and think freely, they avoid this kind of conditioning by various means

  • As a member of the younger generation I will say that it is messing some of them up tbh.

    • In what ways? or do you not know you just know it is messing them up

  • some people can handel it fine. some can't.

  • Unrealistic expectations of sex , unrealistic expectations of a females body,, they end up enjoying sex in real life less.

    • Yeah, bc all guys are packing a 7 incher in their pants :'v

  • I think boys are smart enough to know the media is different from real life. I think porn can be a pretty good outlet for anyone with normal or specific sexual desires

  • Guys always had access to porn, even before the Internet. I think the bigger problems is too many parents are raising their kids to be selfish a-holes.

  • I feel like this applies to both sexes. They don't really have a sense of the reality of what sex is truly like until they experience it themselves. And when it does happen there a possibility that they will be disappointed.

  • Yea. In 9th grade, girls wearing crop tops made me turned on. Current day, I need to imagine sexual acts and have some kind of visual. If it's just visuals it ain't gonna do shit I need more bruh. Should probs start dating so I stop using pornography.

    • Some guys believe that's reality, they dumb in my opinion.

  • its a problem for people who can't tell the difference between porn and reality

  • It has a huge impact on men's libido. It used to be so that men in their 40's to 60's visited an urologist because of erectile dysfunction. Today, men in their 20's are visiting urologists. Men aren't wired to see so many exceptionally beautiful women to be at display for them whenever they please.

  • You and Phil Zimbardo can fuck off.

Being male in the 21st century will suck enough for them. A little porn is the least of their worries, may even aid their sanity in their teen years.

  • They think a certain dick or labia size is "normal" and anything else that isn't shown in porn isn't.

  • That girls are loose and all girls are like that. The media shows a lot of skin on women, particularly music videos.
Boys need to be spoken to by their dads or strong male roll models that women deserve respect and that women don't act like how they do in music videos and porn.
I remember my step-dad telling me to always treat women with dignity and give them your upmost respect. You listen to them, don't ever touch them in that way unless she gives you her full consent sober.

    • Very nice answer!! This world needs more men who think like you

  • To a certain extent, yes, it is affecting us, but not in a "these are destroying sex" way. For the most part, we can differentiate between real life and not.

Furthermore, the real issue isn't with the accessibility of porn, but the lack of general education around sex. Sex Ed in most countries are a complete joke. Nobody is teaching us anything, so if course porn becomes influential to how we perceive sex.

  • it fucked me up

  • they become transgender youths wanting to cut of their own penis.

  • Porn is disgusting and evil. Attention seeking men/women who love to get paid while wasting our time/money. It affects men and woman regarding the true sexuality of a human being, which varies greatly.

  • porn effects people negatively

  • increasing dick size insecurity

  • Thinking that having a 9 inch dick is the normal size, then thinking that the actual normal size is small. Also believing anybody can last an hour
