Just like you should realise that you cannot fire a bullet around a corner or do the infamous bus jump from Speed and that spiderman does not actually exist, you should realise that porn actors put on a show that requires a lot of unromantic, behind-the-scenes work to make it look that way.

  @bekkesmash you're approaching this from a male point of view. Sex for men is the be all, it's the main thing, the most important thing. Sex to women is the least important thing. When a woman discusses "sexual attraction" it's actually in the realm of romatic attraction and cuddling, not genitals and orgasms.   And where did you pull out these numbers from anyway? There is WAY too much porn material for it to be numerically adequate. There's many, many different porn website, not just the most popular ones. It's not just video, there's also image, book, stories, games. I myself know many women who browse porn on a weekly basis, and not for lesbian porn mind you. There's much more to it than a 90m-10f ratio.

  Firstly, you need to understand that Almost objectively, they can only measure the location of the viewer (many people use VPNs, making tracking them much harder). Unless that person is registered on the site or pays via CC, then only the gender of the card owner can be identified. All such payments, however, are going through VISA, MC, AE etc etc and they won't just sell this data to pornhub. Take the gender based statistics with a huge grain of salt. Secondly, pornhub released viewership statistics on 2016 (2017 isn't even over, yet) and worldwide the distribution was ESTIMATED (underline that word) to be roughly 30ish % female and 70% male viewers with 5ish % error on either side. Their results are most likely the result of modelling based on a very limited amount of data and not all the viewer data. But note that the female viewership is >0% hence your original question is mis-representing what's actually going on. Also known as demagogy.

  @Asker believe it or not, sexuality is a common subject in my entourage and obviously porn has its place in it. If you personally aren't open minded with it, it doesn't mean that other people, including myself, can't be. Women watch porn, and not just lesbian porn. You can't put a grapical value to thousand if not million of "Anonymous" users who just came here to watch a video. Which is why the data is very limited, you can only make it up from what the subscribed users selected gender says, and even that can't be used accurately as some people will make fake names/gender for various reasons.
