My first threesome was horrible, but it makes kind of an interesting story.

It was with a guy I was only friends with benefits with (rebound after ltr) and with another girl he'd been sleeping with. At first I thought: she's hot, they both want it, It's his birthday and I always wanted to explore my bisexuality. Why not? But the sex felt unpersonal and distant, she turned out to be annoying af and afterwards she turned out to be crazy as well. She once randomly came over to his place while I was there, introducing herself to his flatmates as "hi, I'm [his name]'s slut. 5 minutes later she was throwing shoes at him saying she thought he loved her.

The guy later tried to rape me in my sleep. He couldn't get it in so I guess it counts as just sexual assault? He didn't even feel the need to apologize because "it was my fault that he was so horny".

The girl's a boy now and from what I've heard he's mentally in a much better place now.

I would never do it. I don't share my boyfriend lol. As a girlfriend I should be able to satisfy my boyfriend sexually. Never have, never will. I'd feel totally uncomfortable sharing my partner with another person, and I don't want to have sex with anyone else, either. There is nothing about a threesome that I want or would even be okay with.

If having a threesome is very important to you, you may want to specifically seek a girlfriend who is interested in stuff like threesomes and swinging. There are specific communities (both online and in person I think) that can help you meet others who have an interest in that lifestyle. But if your current girlfriend says no, respect her wishes and don't bug her again. Not everyone is okay with having a threesome.
