Here's what having lots of sex gets you. Diseases, pregnancies, abortions, and partners that you no longer want to talk to but are now part of your life with some risk of popping up again in the future. Future partners now have to contend with all these risks and issues and it is their business.

What is beautiful, is knowing when self restraint really is best. Unless you intend to be a full on porn star. You don't need to have 14 partners. So, its too much.

There is nothing wrong with sex though. I get it though, having a very large amount of sex partners, like 1 new partner every month, may seem like risky and irresponsible behavior, and sometimes it is. But there are ways to be responsible about it. Also, just because a person has sex doesn't mean they aren't doing other things with their life. It isn't like they are laying around waiting for dick or vagina. The statistics for lifetime sex partners is still much lower than even the OP suggests. Nowadays it is 6 for men and 7 for women as a median. Sure, you are going to have some women and men who have had hundreds, but that is far from the norm. Even the "hook up" culture in college is not nearly as prevalent as people make it out to be. Only 10% have had 3 or more partners while in college and sex with people they know less than a week. It is about 6% of men and 5% of women.

I know I would prefer a woman who is a serial monogamous who didn't get caught up in a crazy wild phase in her early twenties, but while that is fine and dandy on paper, it doesn't really matter so much if the woman is loyal and thinks you are special. If she treated sex as nothing special with me and held resentment for being tied down in a committed relationship with me, then yes, it would make me feel used and like dirt. I think the fact is, most people are jealous of people who get tons of sexual adventure because they secretly wish they could have it. This especially goes for men, because let's face it, women do have it easier when it comes to hookups. That doesn't mean all of their experimentation was fun; there is such a thing as bad sex you know. One has to question if a person's sexual promiscuity is indicative of irresponsibility, personality, or other values, but it must be weighed against how that person thinks and behaves NOW and if they truly ready for commitment.

Also... even being responsible doesn't make risk equal to that of a woman with an average number of partners in that period. Deal in facts... they don't care about your opinion. Who doesn't wanna have sex? Many of us are smart enough to realize a few moments of pleasure just really does nothing for you and increases risk. Everything in life is about risk vs. reward. For many, the pleasure of sex is very rewarding and with the proper steps towards safety (birth control, condoms, STD testing, pregnancy testing, etc.), the risks can be minimized. Granted, I agree. Women carry a huge risk of all of that PLUS assault, rape, stalking, being roofied, so many different additional risks.
