I tend to moan as it amplifies my own pleasure, but I don't really think about it. Moaning also helps to let my partner know she is doing something good/right, especially during oral.

As for women, depends on the woman. One of my FWBs was insatiable and was very freaky. She tended to moan pretty loud, but she was also a squirter and had multiple orgasms.

I don't know, but I'll still try to answer as per my own knowledge:
1) Difference in gender, difference in voice, difference in sexual behavior.
2) Women are naturally more sensitive and sensual than men.
3) Women can get multiple orgasms.

Last but not least:
4) Usually things are being done to the women in bed than the opposite, so the entire time it's the girl getting those simulations. Men get more motivated to keep up with their performance in bed when their partner keeps moaning. It means that he is doing the right thing.
