Why are so many female teachers having sex with their teenage students?

Seems like every time I turn on the news there's another female teacher who has sexually abused one of her innocent male students. Are there no consequences for them? So many rapists in our school system. And women act like men are the sexual predators.

Shit like this is why boys/men who are sexuality abused (especially by women) are afraid to come forward. It's easy to sit back and say idiotic things about wishing she was your teacher, but none of us have any idea of how those boys actually feel and saying stuff like that tells them it's wrong if they do feel like what she did harmed them. Just because someone is attractive doesn't mean that them committing statutory rape is somehow acceptable or excusable. It's not about wanting to be victims like some asshole said below, it's about knowing the difference between right and wrong and an adult having sex with a minor is WRONG no matter what, and especially so when the person who committed the crime is a teacher in a position of power. Sorry for the rant, but I really hate that a lot of the male responders are not taking rape seriously just because they think that the rapist is hot.

    • There's only one way she could rape me and that's if she used drugs but I doubt that would be needed. Also in other places around there world like Tokyo, and UK that wouldn't be considered rape if the teen is 16 or older in UK and 13 for Tokyo it would be just fine.

    • @ltsQae it's not legal here though so that's not relevant. Also, an argument based on the legality of a 13 year old having sex with an adult isn't a very solid one if you ask me. What kind of sick person would WANT to have sex with a 13 year old? Ugh

    • That's just there age of consent for Tokyo and it doesn't matter there's about 90% chance that the guys like it unless they didn't like females or something. Also on a side note I would only say it was rape if the guy was 14 or lower because any straight 15 year old boy would love it.

  • I seriously doubt these boys are traumatized. They definitely don’t feel abused. Their friends probably revere them as heroes and gods among men. I’m sure every high school in the country has some hot young teacher all the boys want to stick their dick in. The fact that some of these teachers go for it is what’s so surprising. Last time I had sex with a high school boy I was in high school too. So, yeah, it’s wrong that these teachers are having sex with students, but I don’t think the boys they slept with feel bad about it.

    • In the vast majority of cases, you are exactly right, @Elliegirl. I had a hot 24-year-old English teacher in 11th grade, and even though I was only 16, I'd have banged her silly if I could have, and would be no worse the wear for it today. I'll grant you that there ARE a handful of exceptions - guys who wouldn't actively want it or enjoy it, so abuse IS possible, but it would be very, very rare. Of course, it's also true that when the sexes are reversed and it's a young girl, it's STILL true the majority of the time that the girl definitely wanted the sex and enjoyed it, and in some of the remaining cases, she might not have wanted it on her own, but was willing to trade it for a good grade or some other perk. Not many are outright abused against their will. Still, it's crossing the teacher/student barrier that's the real problem, not so much the ages of those involved.

    1. More single women relative to age. Women were more likely to be married earlier, and many of the younger teachers are still single.
    2. More divorced women, Middle aged teachers, recovering from a nasty divorce, might find the hormonal desire of a teenage boy appealing. (Of course, the teenage boy isn't desiring of her so much as he is desiring, period).
    3. Bogus femi (commu) nist rhetoric aside, teenage boys and teenage girls, and/or young men and young women, are, in fact, DIFFERENT when it comes to sexuality.

  • There aren't that many. It's maybe 1 in 100,000 teachers. The only reason you know about it is because the media loves to blow those situations up into a big scandal because it gets ratings and ad dollars.

    And it was just as common when you were in school - by which to say, it was equally rare, which is why you didn't get to bang the rare hot teacher in your school district either. LOL.

  • I think a lot of people just make the assumption that the boys liked it and/or wanted it, just because they're boys. You're right, it's not right but unfortunately the thinking. But it's like that with everything do you notice? Guys don't have feelings and if we do, we're told to "suck it up!", even by women. This goes with everything, not just this. We're supposed to "be a man". It's so not right!

    • If the student is under 18 it is considered rape but if the student is over 18 then the school will fire the teacher and I believe they expel the student as well.
