Everyone does, I think. At it can stem from just being a bit odd, to it being "why would THAT be in a SEX dream for me? what is wrong with me?"

But as for what is wrong with us? Nothing. Sex dreams, according to people who look into such things, usually don't mean much, and what they do mean usually isn't sexual.
The brain doesn't always represent things literally, and in dreams, much less so. A sex dream with a particular person, especially if it seems to be a person that having such a dream would seem to be very inappropriate? That usually denotes, from what I've read, a desire to be closer to that person, or an indication that you are growing closer to that person.

Your brain does that every now and then, it does not mean that you want to have sex IRL with the person you’re dreaming about. I had that once when I dreamt of sleeping with my best friends girlfriend... I was stupid enough even to tell them :-) don’t... :-)

There is a difference between inappropriate in a dream and inappropriate in real life. We all dream ir think about many things that are inappropriate or illegal but, unless we act on those dreams or thoughts, then they ate just hamless dreams or thoughts.

That's kind of strange. But I've noticed that if you're thinking about something right as you're falling asleep you dream about it. But it has to be invulantary, like you can't be doing it knowing that it'll make you dream if it. You must be subconsciously thinking of him and sex at the same time as you're falling asleep

Probably not, they're quite common. Dreams are your brain running simulations to prepare you for the future to prepare you for unforseen events. Your brain is just exploring a certain situation to train you.
