If you're asking is sex is overrated on a human and personal level? Definitely not! Great sex (shit, even mediocre sex) is a rewarding and essential part of our physical existence. It's the reason why cavemen drew erotic scenes on walls thousands of years ago. Conflicts between civilizations have been triggered over sex. Humans are capable of sex every day of the year, while most mammals are limited to annually or semi annually. I just read a study reporting that 25% of couples over 85 yo report having had sex within the last year. And actually with humans it's self regulating through libido. Horny people fuck more, others fuck less, depending on circumstance. Just read the postings on this site by some of the "abstainers," who choose not to have sex for religious or moral reasons. Particularly among the 18-30 yo group in their sexual peak, you can tell how challenging and frustrating it is for them to stay celibate.

it depends if it just a one night stand or with a horse or something it's overrated but when you do it with your loved one and sex is full with passion, emotion and making each other feel the best then it's not.
