Well to most of us we don't hear all the syllables in each word, so I can understand why it's perceived as sounding uneducated. Once you know the accent though you start judging them by what they say as opposed to how they sound. I think it sounds funny, but I've never really pinned someone as unintelligent for it.

@disgustingweebtrash I am not. @CT_CD I live in Georgia, about half an hour outside Atlanta. Not too many extreme southern accents here, but a lot of people have a subtle one. I don't though, I sound like I'm from up North.

I actually tend to take the content of what people say rather than there accent to judge the intelligence of someone, though i can admit certain accents make people sound more or less intelligent.

Some do sound extremely unintelligent but again, usually the people in the videos just are unintelligent and have a small vocabulary. Now if there were a video out there about a scientist with a southern accent then I would obviously think different about it
