Conflicted and confused about my boyfriend’s penis size?

I measured my boyfriend’s erect penis last night with a measuring tape and he is 5.5 inches with a 4 inch girth. Last night when I had sex with him was the fourth time I ever had sex. The first two times I had sex was with someone else I was dating (not my boyfriend) who could barely get it up. He would have sex with me semi erect (like about 2-3 inches) and his tip would only get inside me for about a second. I was a virgin so I was very tight. The first time I ever had sex with my boyfriend (which was my third time having sex) I was very tight and “virgin like” he couldn’t stay inside me for very long (but there was no blood). This time he did stay inside me longer, I was still very tight like last time and I bleed a lot. Both times having sex with him were very painful, especially last night. Before my boyfriend and I had sex he told me that he has a big penis and he told me that several women told him this. He even wears the large size condoms. He had a noticeable bulge in his pants (he’s four inches flaccid) so I believed him. I looked up his measurements on Google and several websites say that his penis is average. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, that’s okay to be average. I just feel conflicted and confused as to whether or not he is really truly on the large side. There could have been several reasons why those women could have told him that he has a big penis. Average penis size may have changed over the years, those women were exposed to smaller penises, maybe his penis changed size, etc. He is in his late 40’s and his penis size may have decreased. I’ll take his word for it that women have told him he has a big penis because he has been truthful about everything to me. I’m thinking that my boyfriend probably does have a big penis because he made me bleed. He said the same thing happened with another girl that he had sex with who was petite like I am (I’m 5’ 2”). I want some people to weigh in here: is he average or big?

    First of all, all that stuff about breaking your hymen and making you bleed is nonsense. I'll post a video.

    The reason you are bleeding is not because your boyfriend has a big penis. Women can have whole babies without any vaginal bleeding. The vagina doesn't work the way you think.

    You are bleeding because you and your boyfriend are trying to have sex before you are fully aroused, before you are relaxed, and without enough lubrication. Solutions are: Tons more foreplay, making out, cuddling, hugging, dry humping through your clothes and all sorts of stuff to get you aroused. When your labia are very very very puffy and your clitoris is erect and retracted under its hood, you're aroused, and you may be very lubricated but not always. SO, always have condom-safe lubricant available. I recommend a silicone based lube. (He also needs to be using condoms.) And you also have to be relaxed enough that you're not clamping down when he tries to insert himself.

    Most women are best off if the foreplay leads all the way to being orally and manually simulated to orgasm, THEN starting to have vaginal intercourse.

    • Many men will tell women they are large. They will also lie about their size (if they even truly know as many men don’t know how to measure accurately). Length is usually what people rwfer to when they say a penis is large but girth can also qualify a penis as large. Size doesn’t seem to really be that important unless it’s really small or really large. If a man has good oral skills he can easily compensate for a smaller penis. Understanding a woman’s anatomy and also each individual woman’s preferences will be much more valuable than a large penis... most of the time.

  • You have to realize, that men want women to tell them they are big. A lot of women will tell them just to boost their ego. Because who will want to have sex with you after you tell them they are small? Unless they are into SPH. While it is quite possible he has been told he is big by multiple women, they were lying to him. If he ever watches porn, he knows fully well how far from big he truly is. The fact that he told you he is big, and let you measure it, tells me he is one of two things. Either he is one of those guys that tells you he's big so you'll laugh in his face and tell him he's a liar, or he genuinely believes he is big and simply never did any research. When women first started telling me I'm well endowed, I measured myself and checked to see if it was actually true (luckily for me it was true). I mean, I knew I was bigger than a lot of guys before I was even in middle school, but what can you really tell without all of them having an erection? But I was your boyfriend's size when I was 11 years old. He's either delusional or is waiting for you to call him out on it.
