Is it true older men can control their boners?

By older I mean 30+. I've heard that it's much easier for them to not get a hard-on immediately the same way a pubescent 12 year-old might be. Then again, I could be misinformed.

  • You more-or-less learn to control them by the time you're around 16 or so. It's true that when you're 12, 13, 14, they can happen almost anytime and you don't really have much control, but men (even if they don't realize it), learn to keep their sexual excitement compartmentalized and their mind under control - though it takes some effort and willpower.

    Normally, guys only relax that control in situations where it's okay to do so, but occasionally they'll get caught up in doing something (non-sexual) and will have relaxed control without realizing it, and then some unexpected sexual thing could result in a surprise boner. Mostly, though, when you're in an environment where boners wouldn't be welcome, you keep yourself under control by walling off your sexual side mentally.

  • It comes from their sexual experience if a thirty year old was a virgin who didn't masturbate at all or watch porn then he would be just as bad as a 12 year old boy; but by 30+ they have experience in sex for several years by that point so it would be easier no to get hard so quickly and easily.
