This is my opinion
The tile and the content of this take don't correspond. The title mentions that women are shamed for having sex drives but the context tells that women are ashamed for sleeping with many guys.
Guess what? one fun fact having sex drive is not the same as having sex with many guys. Women who have sex with only one man still enjoy sex and still have sex drives.

Why can't anti-feminists accept that even the word slut is a sexist word that shames women for what is acceptable in men? Why can't you anti-feminists admit that the term has no set meaning like, "7 guys = ok but that 8th guy makes you a slut"? It is a word that is used for any woman, anytime who does something that another person doesn't like and has nothing to do with any actual knowledge of how many partners she has had or how much sex she is regularly engaging in. Sometimes girls as young as 5 are sex-shamed, and just what exactly did a 5-year-old do to earn that?

How does it matter in your life if another woman is choosing to have more sex than you? And do you reserve this judgment for women who you know to be genuinely promiscuous (like, she's acknowledged having sex with X number of men), or do you apply it to all kinds of women for things like how they dress, if they flirt, if they date a lot, etc? The truth is, you know there is no hard and fast line of delineation between promiscuous and non-promiscuous. There's no chart to say who is and who isn't., decided on by some international standards committee. So, it's always a matter of opinion and personal values. In this country we allow people to have differing personal values, and so long as we don't harm one another, we have freedom of conscience to conduct ourselves as we please. What I can never figure is why it matters so much to people to trash women.

I'm not a feminist, and I agree with both of you. I love sex, and I've never had a single STD or pregnancy in my life because I'm clean and safe about it. So I fail to see how this makes me a "slut" when I am more cautious and discerning than most men. I never have ONS, I only ever have sex after getting to know them for a while.
