Do you believe there’s a time that’s too soon to spend the night with someone?

If you’re casually seeing each other, does it give a bad message to sleep over too soon?

  • Thats juxtaposition, and its a good way to kill a possible good relationship. You "restricting" yourself. I can understand wanting to be chased or teased or coerced... but if you have to put a TIME limit where its allowed... then guys like me show up and you may think you are getting your way... but trust me... you aren't. The endgame is to hurt you for being a fake.
You wanna spend the night... let it be known... then Fucking do it.

  • When you say sleep over, are you implying that sex would be happening or do you mean actually sleeping in the same bed.

    • Either or

    • If you feel safe with the other person and believe that they will respect your limits, I don’t see any issue with sleeping in the same bed regardless of how long you’ve been dating. However, sex on the first date is probably not a great idea if you want the relationship to last. Yes, I know people who had sex on the first date and ended up in a happy long term relationship. But that couple is an exception to the rule. The first date sets the tone for the future of the relationship. Sex on the first date often it signals that sex is the priority in the relationship.

  • Not really. It’s only bad if you are wanting something serious. But sleeping with someone for the sakes of having a one night stand is different.

  • Just be in the moment... you obviously both want it so why not go for it

  • Do what you want. Find the one for you... by being yourself. If you wanna fuck, n they dump you over it, it wasn’t meant to be. If you don’t and they leave cuz they want pussy you don’t regret not having sex do you? Women usually go online and call those guys assholes but I don’t know what y’all really think in your own minds. But to me it’s the same either way. If someone doesn’t like you for you then move on and find someone who does.

  • Spending the night at someone's house is fine. Now if you mean actually sleeping with someone, then you should definitely wait until both of you feel ready and that you are sure you care for the person.

  • No, I think that's pretty silly. Besides you don't want to be with a guy who is that flaky. Spend the night if you want to, but don't regret it if the relationship doesn't last long. Most don't.

  • Yes i believe couples shouldn't spend the night too soon
for me it gives a bad message but not for me to judge others.

  • No, at least she’s not going to try and withhold sex as a means of testing me.

And if you don’t mean sex, that’s really down on what kind of person he is.

    But generally speaking, no.

  • Nah, I think those things happen right when they're meant to. Unless you start moving in right away, spending the night is not a problem!

  • it just depends on how u and they feel i personally would the first night in most cases unless i felt uncomfortable around them

  • No..

  • It all depends on the dynamic of the relationship honestly. But it is true once you give it up, things will change. It may be a slight change all the way up to a huge one. But their is a change. So make sure that your are ready for what may come next.

  • yes.

  • Really depends on the people and situation. If you wait until it feels right (could be the first date) its better than setting a time like 3/10 dates etc. Setting a timescale like that is basically putting a cost on your sex. The cost of sex is 3 dates

  • Yes a little bit

  • Spending the night before you've met them is probably too soon but after that it's a negotiation between two adults, why would I care?

  • Nope

  • Yes, I do think some stuff deserves the wait, even if the only reason is to avoid regret.

  • Anytime is good

  • Not in my eyes

  • Like under 5 minutes of meeting her is a bad sign after that, it's game on lol

  • Definitely

  • Yes! Before marriage.
