I would never do it.
If the other person is a female, the girlfriend will almost ALWAYS get jealous of the other girl. Afterwards, she will question her partner constantly and will inevitably drive a wedge between them.

If the other person is a guy, the female will almost always start getting feelings for the other guy because women generally get emotionally attached through sex because of the Oxytocin release. So she will almost always start seeing the guy behind the bfs back and will inevitably break up the relationship.
