So I have always been against couples in public who french kiss each other out there in front of everyone, who "accidentally" slip each other's hands into each others pants, who act like they're touching each other innocently but then move the hands to grab the boobs or butt, etc.

In the case with my girlfriend, I've never done anything like that (also be aware, we've only been together for 5 months, and we're both into waiting rather than having sex right away with any random person), but I have been getting close to her, hugging her, nuzzling my cheeks and head against hers, and slipping my hands under her shirt... and by "slipping my hands under her shirt", I don't mean moving my hands up to unlock her bra and feel her bare boobs, but just simply slip my hands under her shirt and feel her tummy, since she has really soft silky smooth skin, and she has a really nice and flat tummy (which she got from a lot of effort, eating healthy, and working) out, and she curves at the waist, making her tummy really nice to feel. Friend's overreacting (and maybe jealous?). There is some truth to the statement that people might think you're feeling her up. You need to decide whether you want her seen that way. If she's cool with it, then that's a help. And, the halter top is a great idea in fair weather. For me, it comes down to this - you two do what makes you happy, and is within the law. If your hand under her shirt "works" for you two, then so be it.

Well I can't exactly blame her, as unless you genetically have a flat stomach, it's not in the least bit easy to get one. It'll only become completely flat after YEARS AND YEARS of exercise and a strict diet. The soft skin, though... that I can sort of agree on, as soft skin is not that hard to maintain. But moisurizing everyday can get tedious, so... yeah.
