Did my boyfriend switch positions durig sex to avoid eye contact?

Question

So when we had sex today Immy boyfriend was looking at my boobs a lot. This isn’t a problem ofcourse, but normally there is a lot more eye contact. There was some eye contact though and he kisses me a few times. So I jokingly “pointed it out with heyy my eyes are here haha” because I wanted to have a bit more eye contact. So he smiled and looked at me more. At some point he changed the potition to doggy. I know he likes doggy (especially cause he loves my ass and the way it “bounces” when he hits it from the back) but we already did that position and we almost never return to a position that we did just a while ago.

So that got me thinking did he change the position so that he could avoid having eye contact with me?

I’m going to ask him as well but I believe he won’t say “yes i didn't want eyecontact” because he wouldn’t want me to be upset, even if that were his motives.

I'll relate my experience with something like this. An almost exact same situation happened with me and my girlfriend, where she wanted good eye contact. But, for whatever reason, that night, having her look at me, watch me, made me feel like a monkey in the zoo, and it was fizzling me, so I ended up switching to doggy, and I was all set. She didn't get the eye contact, though, and I feel bad about that. Thing is, I might've "lost interest" if I had to stay under a microscope, so to speak, so I did make sure we went to completion, by switching to doggy. Not sure why, but sometimes her "watching" me is a turn-on, and sometimes it's a turn-off. Mood?

Eye contact can make people uncomfortable, its pretty intimate, here's how you find out, you take control and give him a handy/or have sex and tell him to look you in the eye, or you just ask him, relationships last longer with communication, because it doesn't get boring having nothing to experience together

I could speculate any number of good and bad things.
I tend to look in the eyes mainly during love making. (specific type of sex)
I mainly look at the body the other times. If it happens more often, then ask him what's going on. If it's just an occasional thing, then I suggest blowing it off.
If he blows you if when you ask, then bring it back to us with more questions. :)
