Do you find girls who enjoy comic books attractive or unattractive?

I have never personally read a comic book before, but I quite enjoy the tv series and movies that have come out. Such a Smallville, The Flash, Supergirl, Justice League, etc. I find that the stories are quite deep with a lot of really good story writing. I also enjoy “researching” the comic book stories to see how they relate or differ from the show I just watched. So what do you think?

  • Hobbies and interests don't make a girl any more or less physically attractive. That said, if it's a hobby or interest I share with her, I might be more inclined to pursue a relationship with her--on the basis of being compatible.

In this case I'm not particularly interested in comic books (unless you count manga), but I find that I tend to have a lot of other things in common with people who are into comic books. So, I'd say my reaction is neutral-positive.

  • Depends on the era of comics if its the modern stuff and exclusively superheroes it's pretty standard pop culture fair. But if she comes along singing the praises of The classics and going indepth with Ronin, Robo Cop vs Terminator or the 2000AD series then she is more likely to capture my attention.

  • Yeah... but not sexy if they talk about them all the time.

  • It's shows that a girl is cheerful and has good humour

  • Attractive, I guess. It's certainly not a bad thing

  • A girl having actual interests and hobbies is always a good thing.

  • I like to watch anime as it more imagine. If you can draw it then it can be made real. So pretty it's to each their own thing.

  • It's irrelevant to me either way. If I saw one I was interested in reading one, I'd be happy to use it as an icebreaker, though.

  • It has no bearing whatsoever.

  • Attractive ! i would read his comic books xD. She would be my geek and me his amateur geek xD.

  • it really depends on the girl, not just her interests

  • Not really something attractive, so I guess unattractive. I rather be with someone reading fact based books, comic books have never been interesting to me. I find that something you drop when time begins to matter. It's just not something interesting me so it's not an attractive feature in others.

  • Doesn't matter

  • Depends on a girl, I like some of them, I dislike some of them...

  • I dunno, what does she look like?

Don't judge people, some people have very kind hearts and attractive (emotionally). Most bad some good. Don't stereotype

  • an attractive girl is attractive doing whatever and an unattractive girl is unattractive doing anything. Comic books don't change that.

  • I actually broke up with a woman because I hooked up with a comic book nerd. She wasn't as attractive but the fact she was a comic book nerd and a gamer meant I could also see her as a friend and not just "my girlfriend".

  • I don't read comic books, so it would not attract me. I guess the style of comics would decide whether or not it was a turn off though...

  • hell ya, prob means she's fun, and creative, imaginative, its kinda hot!

  • there are too many girls that get into comic books because they area unattractive normally. So, they get attention in some form doing it.
I've known very pretty geek girls.
But I've also known some pit bulls.

  • Very attractive. I love comic books and comic book based movies.

  • Off shoulder

  • it's super attractive.

  • I find the whole reading of comic books kind of odd with as much high tech media as we have now. It is like still reading newspapers.

    • Some people don't even read the comic books, they keep it in sleeves as collectibles.

    • There's nothing like holding a brand new trade in your hands. They have digital comic books but it's just not the same.
