Because he doesn't want an unplanned pregnancy? It's a LOT less likely to happen if he doesn't cum inside you, so it's obvious he's paranoid when he does as you're not on a 100% successful contraceptive.

He has the right to worry & you definitely should be too if you don't want a kid now either?

The fewer sperm he ejaculates inside you, the better your odds of not becoming pregnant. So there is wisdom to him pulling out, even with you on the pill. If cumming on your stomach instead gives him some peace of mind, I’d probably overlook it. What does it hurt?

I think maybe he is getting worried about accepting responsibility and he is worried you might purposely get pregnant-it is unusual for him to start worrying about getting you pregnant now-after having sex with you for 2 years
