Let me put it this way: I wouldn't want to be her boyfriend in a relationship with her. So she and her boyfriend are very young adults who are struggling financially. Sort of like a whole lot of other young adult couples. But she gets a whiff of rich cousin's money and she instantly wonders why she's not with him. She's not the kind of girl I would want to count on to be strong when life gets difficult. Which it always does at some point, whether that's with finances or whatever else. She sounds like the kind who would bail out really quick.

In my opinion, she is materialistic. Money doesn't make the man, and people who relate financial success to being inferior/superior are lost in my opinion.

Everyone has different life circumstances.

I know people who have worked hard all their lives, went to school, have advanced degrees and they are barely scraping by.

I know people who were dumb as a rock, but they are trust-fund kids, and they are set for live because of their parents' success.

I also know people who were just business savvy, didn't go to school and launched successful business without too much effort.

Everyone has different life circumstances and life is a little bit of luck and little bit of skill. I wouldn't want a girl who defined me by my money.
