it was normal to die for princesses, and they are always considered beautiful by default. to tis day society as not transcended material based attraction. beauty is about power not aesthetic. the aesthetic of the day-what is considered beautiful- is molded to the power. and depending on the society AND how severely that society is impacted by more powerful -corrupt -societies. you saw white faces all over not bc anemic skin is wonderfully amazing but bc of colonial power infecting standards everywhere. what people call organic sense of beauty is just the affect of brain washing. there is no single standard of beauty. not one good idea. not one right way. not one history not one god-- but it does not stop people from believing in 'the one'. thats arrogance not fact.

Well she was Iran's princess and yes I've heard some stuff about her being admired by lots of me due to her beauty.
I need to mention that during ages in history the definition of beauty and beautiful women has changed a lot. I read an article that said in the past even in western countries men liked fat women better. And currently in some African places, they still believe the fatter the women, the better.
The article also tried to tell that due to the change in technology and fashion, little by little the models got thinner and so the general beliefe was changed that women should look slender. Also scientific researches concerning health and obesity had an important influence on it.
