  • FFM is definitely more tolerated by society than MFM.
    Not to get into a whole debate here but I personally think it has a lot to do with the female (and what's considered feminine) oppressed society.
    The FFM from what I've gathered is like the staple of (straight) male fantasy. Bisexuality+Lesbianism is generally tolerated (and even celebrated) by straight men, while bisexual and gay men are treated the opposite way.

    The guy in the FMF is seen as someone who has (for lack of a better word) achieved something magnificent while, even in an MFM with 2 straight men and no male on male play, the woman is seen as at least borderline slutty. The guys are seen as emasculated, especially if she's exclusive to one of them.

  • The reason why is nearly all women would at least try something with a girl, they are far more likely to be bi curious. Men tend to be more grossed out and there's a lot more rivalry between men so the mmf thing is gross and awkward to most.
