I actually had something similar attack me when I first struck out on my own. Spirituality helped me fight it off and keep it away. The attacks happened multiple times before I realized it wasn't in my head. The first attack was the worst. I was in bed trying to sleep in my dorm room. I heard the door open and assumed it was my roommate. Then all of a sudden I heard footsteps rush my bed. Then hot hands forced my chest down. I refused to open my eyes out of terror. I felt a hot breathe on my neck and face as I heard grunting and groaning. I screamed and finally forced myself up to have nothing and no one around me... but the door was open. If it were human, then I would have seen them run... there was no one there.
