Why my boyfriend won't have sex with me when I want to?

I been dating a guy over a month and ever since we started dating we constantly have sex. Our sex life isn't bad at all. We used to have sex 2-3 times a day or maybe in one night. Lately we only been having sex once a day. Whenever we are out I want to have sex I know its the alcohol talking but we have sex when we get home from a night out. Lately he doesn't want to have sex when I want to. We got into a fight one night and he hasn't talked to me yet and its been 4-5 days-ish. Remember him telling me we dont always have to have sex. Which made me mad because he always the one that wants it to when I am with him. What does that mean when a guy you're in a relationship says we dont have to have sex. Is that normal for couples? Never had that problem with exes. Maybe I have a higher sex drive than him?

  • You want sex more than he does, so you end up asking more and sometimes get turned down. He doesn't ask as much, and you are always ready to go, so that is why it seems unfair. Sex multiple times a day is a lot to ask of anyone. It is no problem with a new relationship because the newness and excitement of a new partner. Reality is setting now and the guy simply needs a recharge.

  • It's 100% normal. Girls don't want sex with guys ALL the time. You can't really expect the opposite to not be true often, too.

Girls normally have higher sex drives than guys, that's not unexpected at all.

None of this means anything. You are just expressing normal couple behaviour.

    • Thats surprising that your experience is girls in relationships have higher sex drives than guys. If women have lower testosterone, and libido mostly comes from that, where does their drive come from? Antidepressants can depress sex drive a lot.

    • @PeterB1517 Testosterone is the male hormone for sex drive, not women's. It's not "my experience", it's general studies. And it's not girls in relationships, just women vs. men in the general sense.

    • Women do get sex drive from estrogen, as well.

  • Well maybe you have a higher sex drive than him. Maybe you need more sex to be satisfied than he does. Or perhaps sex has turned into routine for him and he's bored or sick of it. try to spice things up, make it more fun, so that he's looking forward to have sex with you more

  • Try to mix the sex up. Try different positions. Try it outside! Maybe get some sex toys like a vibrator.

Are you wearing him out? How old is he?

  • If you asked him "How attractive do you find me?" And he gave an honest answer, could you handle it, or would you punish him for an honest answer?

  • Look, if you're not getting what you need, it's time go ditch the lemon.

  • He's tired he's looking for something else sex is not everything but when they do like that they've been at searching for somewhere else

  • I think he's trying to just break up with you, because men never get bored from sex and usually he's the one ask for it. If it is up to the men hell be making like 3 to 5 times /day
