I'm the kind of person who wouldn't feel in the mood for sex in the first place in such a situation. When I'm pissed, I want to be left alone. My anger is relatively calm but I would feel very resentful for a few hours. The very last thing I'd be interested in is being around my girl, let alone have sex with her. In order to have make-up sex, I first need to calm down and talk everything out. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything with her before everything is resolved.
No. I think the logical reason behind it is the part of your brain that loves someone is right next to the part that hates someone, and both are very passionate emotions. I imagine, if you hate someone, the sex would be very passionate.
