I’m what they call a lefty snowflake but I believe that the left is a very messy place. If a cleaner comes along the ‘offended’ shoo them out with pitchforks. I strive for universal equality but there is a push back because people feel like the homogeny is extinguishing individuality. The LGBT community has been given a lot of freedom (rightly so) but it’s an ongoing battle. One day we will no longer see gay marches being reported on because it will be just as boring as people marching because they’re straight. I don’t think it’s a conscience thing but I feel there is a little truth in what you say. I stress, I don’t think that there is somewhere a council of LGBTs planning how to pervert the public’s mind. It’s just a fight for equality that has an almost infinite amount* of fuel. It meanders around the bigotry and hatred.

To answer your question. I do not think that the LBGT are planning the straights demise. I do not think they are trying to sneak acceptance in. They have it.

What is this mess? You can be perfectly straight and accept the LGBT community. The fact that 'most women are bi' is a myth. If that was true most men would be bi as well.
