Well, do you smell fishy? If so, you likely have bacterial vaginosis and you can do something about that after first going to a gynecologist for a prescription. Consider seeing a gynecologist anyway for a "check-up" regarding your bacteria levels to see if they are imbalanced in any way. Talk to him/her that the smell happens primarily just before menstruation and ask if that is normal. I suspect it may be, but I am not sure.
