Has Feminism backfired on women?

No doubt, early stage Feminism made life better for women. Women weren't "property" anymore. They could vote. Rape was illegal. Even the greater parts of Feminism such as women being free to work and not have to be a housewife and stuff. These are all positive changes.

Modern women outnumber men at college. Women under the age of 30 earn more than men of the same age. Women have access to abortion, which defies nature itself just to benefit them. They get ahead in divorce, custody battles and the justice system in general. Pretty much being a woman in 2018 should be the happiest and best time to be alive for most women.

But it isn't.

Women are more unhappier and are more depressed than ever before. Four out of ten women over the age of 40 are on antidepressants. Women are no longer women. They act like men, except they have vaginas. Girls don't care for guys, or learn to master Feminine things. Modern girls don't know how to cook, or care for people, or how to do anything. You may be shouting at your screen right now! - "Sexist, Raven! How dare you, we don't have to do those things"... well, y'all were happier when you were women and did "Girly" things.

You like it when guys proposed, when they treated you like ladies. When society treated you like diamonds, not having to fight in wars, saved first on the Titanic... you liked that life more. Accept it. Being single, living alone and working 24/7 doesn't make girls happy.

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but it's the truth. Girls are used like sex toys by guys now.. but lets be real what else can girls offer guys, seriously.

I'm not even looking over this question. This is just my idea, sorry if it was a little offensive but studies prove what I'm saying to be true. Women have become men, and as such, have lost the "respect" you once had. Guys don't wanna marry you anymore, or want you for anything other than quick sex, surely that must hurt.

For young women feminists that need it the least it seems to be like free street drugs and to over-the-hill feminists it is a dried up old curse such that so many years of man hate has turned their wombs proverbial gangrene. Feminism is mental transgenderism; boys/men are becoming feminine and while girls/women are becoming masculine. Such genius stuff from the eyes of the great manipulators and those of power that seek to erode the underpin of society. Feminism still looks good on the surface because the long term effects really haven’t begun to hit yet in quantity. “Has Feminism backfired on women?” not that women are generally aware of yet. The ripple effects of the high handed far reaching government regulations of relationships, professional and personal, are just beginning to unravel. It is becoming most evident in the workplace with women coworker avoidance and in public with non-existent interactions. The thought of a woman is starting to invoke Orwellian second guessing of every impulse such that the day will come when the state will need to regulate to whom and when you interact.

I think feminism may have gone a bit farther than most women would have wanted (if they could have seen into the future). I don't know if I would call it backfiring, but I definitely don't see feminism as improving the lives of men and women in the western world. It is still needed in poorer and less civilized countries.

It definitely has provided some opportunities for women, but at a cost that some would not at all appreciate (and you see that in these types of questions from time to time on here)

It hasn't backfired but it's been taken too far. We got what needed to happen, women are no longer property, they can have real jobs and go to school, they can vote, they can wear pants and show their ankles. The only reason they aren't payed the same is because we have men in positions of power, if we got a woman president/Prime Minister that would probably be resolved. Now, feminists are asking too much. They want women to not be sexualized but still be allowed to show off their bodies. They want it to be the norm for women to be fat but they don't call it fat, oh no, they call it "curvy". They have ruined lots of words by making them mean 'fat'. By doing that they have taken feminism too far. Feminists are supposed to be people who believe in equal rights but the modern day feminists seem to believe that everything needs to be equal. Absolutely everything. That had given feminists a bad name and that is why I don't call myself a feminist. I probably am technically a feminist, I believe in equal rights for men and women, but feminists have taken it to far.

Because society pampers women, and licks their asses. Bosses give them premiums for personal services. The education system caters to them. The judicial system does, too.
I personally know 4 women in my close proximity who have used sexuality to get ahead in life. They aren't even ashamed, hell, they are proud of it, and tout it as a skill. THAT is why women earn more, get more into colleges, etc - the system is set up to accomodate them.

As for the question - feminism is probably the most overdue and destructive civil rights movement out there. I know more and more women who became conflicted about feminism - with good reason.

At the minimum, it will cause very subtle job discrimination. Young, brainwashed girls are as dangerous as "IEDs" to a man's career, reputation and family. I am in a position to advise on hiring and I have acquired that bias against young women from modern sexual politics. And I don't apologise.

@Benedek38 If you're one of those 90% of men, no you wouldn't. It's easy to get into the top 20% of men. Most men today are weak as fuck. Consider this: 65% of men today are overweight. Of the remaining 35% of men who aren't, the majority are scrawny and out of shape. Most of them are too lazy or too stupid to do anything about it. Eat proper food and lift weights and you'll be ahead of those guys in terms of attractiveness to women.

I won't bother to post lifts, but generally speaking, I am usually among the 3 strongest natural guys in the gym at any point in time. Granted, these are casual gyms. For the record, I am a countryside 8/10, but a city 6. Sadly I live in a major city, where most guys care about their appearance, are relatively in shape, and have good genetics.

@Benedek38 If you have a good body you're still ahead of most men, even if as you say you're a 6/10 facially. As am I. I know guys who aren't even as good looking as me who've gotten laid more than I have. You don't have to be model good looking to get laid a lot, you just have to look slightly above average/not look like shit. A 6/10 face + a 9/10 body puts you at a 7.5/10. It's better than being a fat/scrawny guy with a pretty face. A lot of it also has to do with how you approach women, your confidence around them, and your understanding of what turns them on. Most guys are more attractive than they think they are, have low confidence, and therefore miss signals of interest that women give them. Then they have these naive views of women that they get from women and society in general that make them behave in a way that prevents them from getting laid.
