What do think of movies being able to show fully naked girls shaved (without any pubic hair)? Is that too far?

I did not know first that movies show totally naked girls. I watched a few movies that take it a step farther. They show fully shaved or waxed girls. Now, this feels like porn. Like why?

Recently, I watched Trance with Rosario Dawson. She isn’t some b grade actress. She is mainstream. They show her waking into a room and zoom in on her shaved vagina. You see everything. Like what was that?

I also watched My Bloody Valentine and it showed a completely bald blonde girl running around for an extended time.

Personally, I feel that when movies have to resort to this it is meant purely sexual arousal for men.

I dont think they should show that. Sorry for my vent.

Showing girls without any pubic hair is too much for my taste

  • Well, I've seen several online discussions which try to... "rank" nude scenes in a movie, based on men and women in various states of undress. Most are of the opinion that showing a woman's shaved genitals is still not as shocking as showing a men's penis, due to the level of "detail" in each case.

The only think that could possible rank higher than a man's penis in terms of "shock detail" is if you saw the entirety of a woman's genitalia - and since women don't walk in such a way that would expose their entire genitalia (unlike men), you are unlikely to ever going to see this in mainstream or even indie films. Also, showing all of it will definitely get you a hard X rating, which no studio wants as it is a death-knell to box-office receipts and distribution revenue.

Just for your amusement, I believe the current "ranking", from least shocking to Most Shocking is as below:

    1. Topless Men (completely not shocking)
    2. Topless Women
    3. Naked Woman with Pubic Hair
    4. Naked Woman without Pubic Hair
    5. Naked Man with Flaccid Penis
    6. Naked Man with Erect Penis (you are unlikely to see this in any mainstream or indie film as an erect penis gets you a hard X rating)
    7. Naked Woman with Entire Genitalia Exposed (you are even more unlikely to see this than an erect penis.)

  • A brief nude scene with an actress like Rosario Dawson, Margot Robbie, or Sharon Stone shouldn't be that offensive to people. It's not the same as an adult film with groups of people having sex. I remember the movie Swordfish. Halle Berry could have came out of the shower without a hair on her pussy. That wouldn't have bothered me. Why aren't there more naked men in movies? Why aren't most strip clubs full of women staring at naked men? Obviously, most women don't want to see a naked man in a movie.

  • The USA is the best example for a double morals society. Nobody gets offended by the fact that the USA has the largest porn industry in the world yet, a nipple shown on TV costs the TV stations and the criminal perpetrator hefty fines.

The same goes for verbal expressions or words that are blended out. What kind of society do we live in? One thing is acceptable but not the other.

Europe is once more a perfect example of liberalism. Not many people in Europe get offended with a nude woman or man in a movie. European movies with nudity are broadcasted before 10 PM and no one is offended. No double morals.

Sex sells and by now everyone knows it. What difference does it make if you see the full vagina or the entire penis? With internet, every 8 year old kid has unrestricted access to nudity and porn. It does not take a genius to create a fake profile on one of those porn sites with free access to vaginas, cumshots and deepthroat.

So America, stop pretending being a nation with morals. We are just as perverted as any other country. We just pretend we have stayed in the 19th. century for morals but we live in the 22nd. century for murders, rape and legal killing by the government when it is deemed necessary.

  • Well I think the actor decides on the pubic Hairstyle, Id also go fully shaved

  • Check out Linnea Quigley in Return of the Living Dead from 1985.

She is bare, they show her from the back and below, from the front. Everything. And this was more than 30 years ago.

Female nudity in films still seems to be overwhelmingly full bush or merkin. This is often because it is explained to the actress that it is not sexual. If it isn't sexual than there should be no objection to obscuring everything behind a thick mat of pubic hair.

You know they don't keep that bush normally. Many have bikini pics and if they kept themselves that furry you could tell in the bikini shot.

I applaud Rosario Dawson for showing it like it is. She is an unbelievably sexy lady.

  • Lol what the fuck? Why is pubic hair where you draw the line?

    • Right? Lol 😂

    • @311WasAnInsideJam it's like "oh my God, that movie has a bald guy in it, how disgusting."

  • Not sure. I think it depends what sort of atmosphere the movieis trying to provide the viewer with. There are plenty of naked men in certain movies as well, showing off everything.

  • I don't think the addition of bush would make it any different.

  • i know that grl alexis dziena but i don't think she's bald in that scene

  • The “no hair “ look seems to be in so that’s why it’s seen in movies now.
I don’t mind nude scenes as long as they are relevant to the scene in the movie.
I looked up the Bloody Valentine scene and that happened after she got chased by a guy after having sex in a hotel room.
I’d rather see nudity than gore and excessive violence in a movie.

  • Flaps never hurt anyone ✌️

  • I haven't seen pubic hair since the late 90s. If they look like they have a cooch afro that is somehow less offensive to you?

  • Why is the pubic hair such a issue for u

  • I think ALL nudity, fully, male or female should be acceptable and nothing wrong with it. I think society's view on nudity is way over due for a change! There's nothing lewd or "indecent" about the naked human body. Society (or religion) has deemed it "wrong" and "immoral", or made everything sexual.

  • Not necessary for a good plot line.

  • Rosario Dawson's bald smooth pussy looked absolutely beautiful 😍 in Trance. Nothing wrong with full nudity!

  • as long as R-rated, it's fine

  • I’ve never heard of a movie that showed a vagina at all. What kind of movie would do that?
I think just showing boobs is rather extreme, let alone the pussy with or without hair. Sounds like expensive porn.

    • Ironically it's mostly in older movies. Check out Thunderbolt and Lightfoot with Clint Eastwood, there's a gratuitous full frontal muff shot.

  • That girl is super cute. That's the movie where she walks in front of Bill Murry. She is the daughter of the house. I thoroughly enjoyed that scene when I saw it.

  • Did all the retards come out to play today?

  • I think if they are having they actress open her legs and zoom in for a close up that is too much for a mainstream movie. If the actress is just walking around in the nude I don't mind even if it's for an extended period. Nudity is normal and shaved is just how a lot of girls go now. It's not like the sight of vag is terrifying for me.

And yeah if they want to show guys with their dick out that's okay too. It's not my thing but I don't care.

  • I am not a prude like you

  • Why is hair the issue?

  • I like nudity in movies, whether female or male nudity, no difference, offcourse it's sexual sometimes, but I don't care, I love those scenes
