When it comes to your orgasms during masturbation, does the intensity increase with the amount of time you have been without orgasm?

I made a poll regarding intensity of orgasm during masturbation (vote here) and noticed that women's ratings were considerably higher than men's.

Some people commented saying that the longer they go without orgasming, the more intense the orgasm is.
I wondered if this is the reason why women have more intense orgasms during masturbation; they generally tend to masturbate less frequently.

So how about you?
1) Do you have more intense orgasms the longer you go without masturbation?
2) If so, why don't you masturbate to orgasm less frequently, so that your orgasms can be more intense when you do orgasm? Do you prefer masturbating more often but having less intense orgasms?

When it comes to your orgasms during masturbation, does the intensity increase with the amount of time you have been without orgasm?
My masturbatory orgasm is more intense the longer I go without orgasm. But I still get more enjoyment out of masturbating more frequently, even if the orgasms are less intense
Vote A
My masturbatory orgasm is more intense the longer I go without orgasm. I would enjoy it more if I masturbated to orgasm less often & thus had more intense orgasms, but I can't resist but masturbate more often.
Vote B
My masturbatory orgasm is more intense the longer I go without orgasm, so I purposely masturbate to orgasm less often, so that they're more intense when I do orgasm
Vote C
My masturbatory orgasm is more intense the longer I go without orgasm, but I don't care. I will still masturbate as often as I would otherwise.
Vote D
There's no difference in intensity regardless of how long I have gone without masturbating to orgasm
Vote E
Orgasm is less intense if I haven't orgasmed in a while
Vote F
I don't masturbate, or I don't orgasm while doing so

  • None of the vote options quite worked for me, there is some truth that the longer I've been without an orgasm the more intense it is, but edging or taking a long time to release by keeping yourself on the edge without cumming can also greatly increase the intensity of the orgasm. Of course the longer between orgasms to a point increase the volume of ejaculate for a guy. For instance if I haven't cum in 24 hours I'll shoot at least 8 good long streams of cum and shoot it with enough pressure to have it shoot a distance of 12" to 24 ", but if I already came a hour or two ago I may only shoot 3 to 4 streams and not as far.

  • Well most western men are circumcised so we automatically lose like 80% sensation from that. That extra skin makes all the difference in sensitivity. Women haven't been cut so they experience better orgasms

    • I did another poll on this topic & there wasn't a difference between circumcised and uncircumcised men in how much they enjoy masturbation

    • How would they know if they've always been circumcised? If you cut off nerve endings anywhere on your body you'll lose sensation. Some transgender people completely lose the ability to orgasm after gender reassignment surgery.

    • Thanks for MHO

  • For me, it has nothing to do with that. I get an increase in intensity depending on how horny I am and how long it takes me to cum. If it takes me 5 mins to cum, it won't be intense. If I slowly take my time and build up my arousal, get extremely horny and pleasure myself for like an hour, that's when I'll get a very intense orgasm.

  • The longer sex lasts the stronger my orgasm is. Depending if it's just one big one or multiple orgasms. I've actually only really started orgasming, I spent s log of money on sex toys last month and I've spent s lot of time using them.

  • Honestly my orgasms vary so much and they’re really unpredictable. When I’m by myself I’m quiet and have silent orgasms with minimal sensation outside of the vaginal area. And it can take a minute to an hour to have one. And I can’t cum but I can squirt. With guys it takes like 30 min to get to one usually and I cum first

  • I voted A.

  • It's not about the length between, it's how much build up before hand. If I come close and back off and repeat, the end result is more intense.

    • Could ı want a fovour from you

    • Yeah. About the same.

    • That's just like when a man edges. You should try bringing yourself to the edge of orgasm several times without an orgasm and try to do it several days in a row. I have edge for 14 days straight before. It was agonizing not cumming for that long and being constantly horny, but the intensity of my orgasm after 2 weeks was incredible! My cock spasms violently and and the volume of semen is massive. Sometimes I edge before I have sex, unfortunately I don't last long the first time, but the women seem to love the massive orgasm they give me. It's a lot of fun you should try it. It takes some mental fortitude.

  • I have great orgasms when I masturbate no matter how long I wait before I masturbate!
I masturbate ever day well almost!

  • It somewhat depends on my horny level how intense it is, but the longer I wait between masturbating, there sure is a hell of a lot more cum. I do think the amount and how much has to explode out adds to the orgasm. Edging certain;ly helps bring out an intense orgasm as well, but sometimes a quicky when super horny thinking about a girl I am crushing on at work looking super sweet some days, can be real intense too.

  • I see no difference in the intensity, but the more I do it, the less I ejaculate, even though it's still just as intense.

Something that may or may not be related - I've found that the foreplay leading up to the orgasm does intensify the orgasm, sometimes dramatically.

A former domina used to practice tease and denial on me a lot - even caged my cock for days at a time, all the while constantly teasing me either physically or through texting. She taught me that the orgasm wasn't the key to sex - that the constant state of arousal prior to the orgasm was the best part. In many ways she was right - always being aroused was far better than just 20-40 minutes of play and then poof, orgasm and it's all over, arousal gone.

  • Yeah it does

  • No its the amount of sex drive. If you skip a day or two your just horney. If you edge the next day you can have an even bigger orgasm. Time between is irrelevant.

  • The longer I wait (up to a point), the fuller the tank is and the longer and stronger I cum.

  • I really don't keep track of things like that

  • Not that I've found.

  • I haven't noticed that. Depends more on your technique

  • Seems like you have a masturbation problem. LOL

    • I'll say...

    • @Pixel343 - She should try one of those giant Hitachi magic wands - the vibrator. Run it on that clit - scream with delight. LOL Or a sybian machine. I've heard they're all the rage, if not a bit too spendy.

  • FUUUUUCK YES!!!

When I came back from boot camp years ago. That was the first load I busted in 3 months. Like the shit was so intense I moaned loud af and everyone in my house was like

    “What the hell?”

  • C is probably the response that is closest to biological response of us guys.

  • I like to orgasm as often as I can. They are more intense the longer I go without masturbating. But also, if I edge a few times while masturbating that gives one hell of an orgasm when I finally go all the way.

  • I wait on purpose so its better

  • Of couse i let things build up

  • Yeah we got it in our anatomy lesson, after 3-4 days of rest, a man ejaculates 2-3 ML of semen :3

  • Yes. Definitely.
