Do guys get boners when?

I’m just wondering….. do guys get boners from just LOOKING at a hot girl? Like, if they see a sexually/physically attractive girl either in real life or a photo of her, do they automatically get a boner or no? Just wondering.. because some guys told me they do when they see a hot girl in person or a photo of her or even just thinking about her turns them on easily and they get hard but I’m sure not all men are like this.

I also know guys can get them in their sleep and sometimes for no reason at all relating to a girl or anything, but this is another thing.

  • Yes, it's pretty much involuntary although you learn more about what does or doesn't trigger it as you get older and you can influence it more and *try* to avoid it.
    It *can* be due to just looking at a girl, but that depends a bit on the guy. In my case it usually don't.
    Think of it a bit like when you're getting wet or your clit is getting hard, except that there's a bit less needed and that since our penis is bigger it is both more visible *and* we're getting more stimulation just from it being bigger due to our clothing etc, things that quite frankly are not helping when you're having a boner...

    1) No. Guys don't get boners when they look at a girl. They get them when they imagine intimacy with the girl. Or get physically intimate with a girl. ALL men are like this.
    2) Getting boners may be involuntary for teenagers, but not for people over the age of 16. However, if physical stimulation is involved, then involuntary boners show up. But 99.9% of the situations don't end up in involuntary ball fondling.
    3) It feels good when you get a boner. It's like a rush of blood in your head. Breathing quickens, and the hormonal change makes you feel good. However, it's insignificant to what sex feels like.
