If you look at any of the studies on this, you will find that women are into the degrading and humiliating stuff, a lot more than men. Like Pornhub and others published the stats of their users and shown women using the website watch the hardcore degrading women categories of porn way more than men.

General sex interest surveys in recent times have also shown that women's top sex interests are masochism (receiving pain and humiliation), simulated rape, being choked/strangled, being restrained/tied down, etc. Women are far more interested in that kind of stuff than men. Men are more interested in other things. I'm not making this up, there are stats to prove it.

You will find that the majority of men do not prefer that, some do, but it's more-so women who do.

  All I am saying is women like to be degraded more than men like to degrade them. Women are into masochism and sadism. Men are not really as much, they prefer other things. No. I like it because it shows girls who are eager to do the things I would like to do with them. Though, as I gradually learned how much of it is likely an act, I became less intersted in porn overall. There are still some actresses that excel at appearing genuine (Danika Mori comes to mind), but not many.

  Glad I didn't misunderstand. Porn is nearly as old as the oldest profession so it definitely has something going for it. I see it as fantasy, not as a model for how to treat women and/or live my life. I'm sort of a dual man. In public/'real life." I'm every bit a gentleman who admires, respects, and reveres women, esp the strong, independent ones. In private, I'm a very dominant lover with a bit of a sadistic slant. I struggled for years to reconcile the two and finally concluded I didn't need to because they really never meet. I found to my delight that the more successful, assertive and ambitious women are professionally, the more submissive they are sexually. That's of course not universally true but it is the significant majority of the time. I also found that a LOT of women were submissive and didn't have any idea that was true until I introduced them to the dark side, aka kinky sex. You are very likely the exception and if that's true, that's good to know. Just out of curiosity, what role do you prefer to play sexually? Not judging, just curious.

  The average guy doesn’t pay for porn. It’s a free industry for like 90%+ of people. The people that shell out money are the ones that want to see unusual things. There is an endless glut of free porn on the internet for normal guys. So if you want to attract paying customers, you have to do something crazy to to appeal to the most perverted and draw them in.   I know. I’m just saying trends are dictated by money. If some small circle of people are willing to pay for something outrageous then it will be made to collect on that revenue stream. After it’s been on the market for a little bit and it’s been profitable to the porn industry it is eventually leaked/pirated and ends up on mainstream free porn aggregation sites for everyone to see. The driver behind it though was the small minority of guys that will pay for something crazy, not the large majority of guys that passively surf free porn sites.

  Because only 1 in 10 guys is willing to pay for porn subscriptions. Money talks, bullshit walks. Who ever pays the bills, dictates the trends. The other 9 in 10 guys that aren’t looking for the unusual have like 100 million pornos for free at their finger tips 24 hours a day today and that number is always growing. That’s way more than any guy needs in his life time so there’s no need for normal people to vote with their dollars.   Yep, but you apparently have no understanding of economic. Porn actors work for money. Porn production companies that pay them are a business and need to make money to stay in business. Only 1 in 10 men have paid for porn subscriptions and don’t do it continuously. Porn is a niche industry. To make money in that industry you have to cater to a very tiny portion of the population.
