Is this true about pants on women?
"Please ladies, don't wear pants in public[...] because many men are struggling with sexual temptation... Pants draws the male's attention directly to her crotch area of her body, thighs and her buttocks... If your clothing shows your curves and shape, men will be aroused."

Yes. Whenever I see a woman wearing pants, I get aroused.

I only get immediately aroused by pants that are tight.

  • This is ridiculous.
We are not in the 1700’s anymore when women couldn’t even show their ankles because men supposedly found ankles arousing.

It doesn’t matter what a woman wears. When it was only socially acceptable for women to wear formless dresses (1910’s) men found something else to stare at.

If they didn’t, then the human race would have died out in a single generation. Why? Because there would have been no attraction or arousal.

I guess men should wear formless dresses as well. True or not; Women stare at men’s crotches and butts as well? Surprise, true. Women do “check out” men’s crotches and butts just as much as men check women’s. They are just more subtle about it. Especially, the married women.

I love standing at a checkout and watching people. Seeing all the eyes dart back and forth hoping no one sees them (either sex) checking someone out. The married people are especially humorous when they have sunglasses on.

So, in my opinion, this question holds no weight as an argument. It’s been done and did not curtail anything. From the advent of women’s clothing to the 1920’s when the dress was lifted to just below the knee. It didn’t stop men from looking. All it will do is restrict women’s choice of clothing, and what type of work they can do.

Formless dresses are not practical in a lot of professions where women work.

    • Well said!

  • Women in pants arouse men. Women in shirts arouse men. Women in full length dresses arouse men. Women in bath robes arouse men. Women wearing a curtain with a hole cut out for their head arouses men. Women wearing no clothes arouses men. However, all of these items without a woman wearing them have significantly lower rate of arousal in men (not 0% because some men will simply imagine a woman wearing them and become aroused. Sorry, but scientific evidence points to women being the common variable in the arousal of men. It does not matter what they wear.

    • This right here.

  • There are probably some minority of men who feel they cannot control their arousal for a woman who is dressed in pants, but this is the man's problem. Women have been wearing slacks for more than 100 years. They are convenient and unless they are too tight, make work and modesty easier. Even if a woman is in scanty pants, a man has to handle himself. If you don't want to see women in pants, you might consider moving to a country where women don't wear them. Perhaps you might get some counseling to help you get past this obsession. It sounds unhealthy.

    • It is not me

    • Whoever it is, it's unhealthy to to blame an article of clothing for inciting someone's arousal. The person is responsible for controlling their arousal. To try to control how someone else dresses to stop your own arousal is outrageous. Sounds like a tight dress wouldn't suffice either (a loose flowing dress)... So this person is the fashion police to keep himself in check. Too much.

  • This is very true. That’s why I try to help guys avoid temptation by never wearing pants, even underpants. I only wear skirts so men can’t see my crotch or butt unless I bend over. Whoopsie! Teehee!

But then they won’t see my panties at least. No no, don’t want to tempt those poor boys.

    • I am so happy to find a girl like you who goes to such lengths not to wear pants or panties just so that us guys dont get tempted by it. Your selfless wearing of skirts with no panties showing off your pussy as not to tempt me is so admirable I am in awe of you right now ;)

  • So if I don't wear pants and I supposed to wear nothing? And that won't get guys sexually aroused? Hmm makes total sense

    • He wants you to wear stuff like this 😂 https://www.girlsaskguys.com/img/3685983

    • Some guys must get turned on from the smallest of things, because I mean, it's just pants? 😂😂

  • wait what?😂😂😂

Guys, have a little self control, is the above observation true tho?

    • dating tip for ladies! wear jeans on third date😃

  • That's retarded

  • A formless skirt isn't the correct comparison. The competition for tight fitting pants is a form fitting dress.

The groin area or butt can draw attention mainly because tight pants are often paired with a loose top, or the waistline is interrupted by the waistband and so the hourglass (if any) is ruined. Unless a man is thinking obsessively about his penis or cunnilingus (we've all been there) the hips, tummy, breasts, and (if one is fortunate enough to have it) the whole hourglass thing trump the crotch area every time. We are no longer thinking of genitals but of the entire female reproductive system, and we are thinking of the part of her body where our hands would be if we were in bed together.

I suspect this is all connected to the popularity of tight fitting pants. Many women either want not to be desired in that way, or prefer to avoid competing on that level.

  • Ridiculous. It's not the 1800s anymore. If you can't control yourself from simply seeing a woman in a pair of jeans... that's on you.

  • LOL. This is gold.

    • Read the entire article. It gets even worse. It blames pants for abortion xD

  • When I was 19 I worked in a Toy Store. I wore tight jeans every day. I was the number one choice to change light tubes. I found out later that it was because the women in the store liked watching me climb the ladder.

Women liked looking at me, I liked looking at women in tight jeans, I liked looking at guys in tight jeans. Who cares?

    • well then quit plagiarizing others questions then.

    • I didn't plagiarize it. If you learn how to read, it was a quote from a website, and I cited the website. Then I asked if the quote was true

  • Yeah, wear a burka so that men won't get "aroused". LMAO

I wear tight pants so that women can get aroused by my bulging package. Women just can't control their urges. Hahaha

    • I'm glad you see the control women philosophy that these sorts of opinions have. It's where the burka and "modest" dress of various religious groups has come from. Slutty clothes on women don't cause rapes. Rapists cause rapes. I saw a display of "what I was wearing when I was raped." No one was in a short skirt or a "club" outfit. It was the blandest selection of clothing I'd ever seen. The only thing you have to be wearing to arouse a rapist is a woman's body. It dosen't matter how it is or isn't covered.

    • Right on, Screenwriter. And the idea that jeans of all things are slutty? OMG, they fit a woman's body and allow people to see her "curves"! On full display! Nobody should ever be allowed to see a woman's curves! It's... it's... pornographic! I mean, I have to admit that when I see a woman in jeans, I can't resist giving her ass a nice swat and a squeeze. It's just human nature. Hahaha

  • Yeah, ... right.

  • Well that would depend on the pants, and generally even then we are talking leggings which adhere to every curve and wedge themselves up a womans ass, then that can have an affect as she is effectively naked while wearing them (from a form perspective, it leaves very little to the imagination), but her wearing pants in general? No. Again, unless its thin leggings that are very tight or incredibly skimpy which is more to do with the lack of clothing then with clothing.

  • This cracks me up. So a Christian is saying that women can’t wear pants cause it makes men excited?

    1. In the bible, King David danced naked in public. People complained but God approved. Not surprising since...
    2. People were not intended by God to have clothed. After Adan & Eve sinned they then felt shame without clothes.
    3. Jesus said that if a man looks at a woman & lusts for her it’s on him NOT her.

    Next:
I personally find skirt and heels 500 times mor attractive than pants.

    Lol

  • Ridiculous. Men are aroused by the female body and vice versa. Shall we all just wear cloaks? No.

  • Is that why women aren't allowed to wear pants at church?

  • stupid concept.

  • OH, HELL NO!! Only some little boy who can't control himself would try to force the entire female gender to submit, for his comfort!! Oh, that sounds like something else. . .
I want to respect other's religious beliefs, and they can have them, think them, feel them, but as soon as they try to push them on me, and force me to go along, then NO WAY, and that is just crap!! Keep it to yourself, and learn to control yourself!!

  • Hmm a grossly outdated concept and a link to a religious website. I invite you to join us in 2019 where I hardly ever see women in a skirt now unless there is some special occasion.

    • I didn't say I agreed with it

  • I feel like I just time warped back to the Colonial period and was admonished by a Puritan.

  • We can find a woman attractive in no matter what she is wearing in my experience

  • I’m not gonna change what I wear just because it makes guys uncomfortable. That’s their problem.

  • I don’t care if it’s true or not. Me and my wranglers ain’t going NOWHERE 😂

  • I'm not attracted to women

  • So Christians strive to have a higher standard (in this case clothing). Not in a pious or proud manner. These standards are described in the Bible so that those who believe in a God who created them will be blameless. I find it peculiar that those who choose a less of a standard of dress, ridicules these standards. Is it an inferior thing? Because quite frankly the criticism misses the real purpose.
