Before you say its not think about it. You have woman on posters screaming this is how you should look, when I was in middle school and elementary I got teased for being fat when none of the bigger guys were made fun of. My dad comments about getting to big or points out that we have cellulite etc but nothing is said of his weight. Women worry about finding love because its hard to find a guy who doesn't care about weight or doesn't have a fat fetish. We're put on diets, some men get put diets as well but its more common to see a little girl has been put on a diet rather than the little boys, (they are growing and need to eat as such). There are numerous examples I can give but hopefully you get the point: women are expected to stay a certain weight but men can be whatever weight they want people don't bat an eyelash so why do they do it towards women?

It's about the basics of mammalian biology. Females have a lot more skin in the game so they are in control, at least a first. Males compete, females choose. Combine that with the fact that men are instinctively most turned on by what we see and hopefully, you'll start to get it. The cultural stereotypes for women don't make it any easier. Sorry.

Many women are still attracted to slightly larger men. I believe it’s related to just feeling safer. It’s probably why women also prefer taller guys. As someone who was overweight before losing 50lbs… people do treat you different. Even though guys don’t have the same social pressures girls do, they are still judged pretty harshly. Oh. In some cases it does and not all the time does it effect those areas. Some big girls don't have big boobs or butts and some don't have good formed ones. Also with the mannequins is because women are trying to shine light on it because people see plus size people as non athletic (most are) but that's besides the point. The answer is pretty simple. Women are valued much more for their looks than men are, just like men are valued a lot more for their career and income than women are. That's a fact supported by many, many studies so please don't deny it. A man's income / income potential is a far more significant factor in women's attraction to men than it is in men's attraction to women. It's a two-edged sword so if you're going to complain about one side of it you'd better be prepared to address the other side.
