Do you think it would be more painful for a virgin?

  • The first one I had was very quick. The doctor wore a glove and sort of lubed up but it was still dry and uncomfortable when he gave my prostate a firm squeeze.
The second was given by an intern that looked like (better than) her.

I didn't know she would do it until she entered the room. She wrote at the desk for maybe two minutes and I was half hard by the time she got to me. About the same discomfort (except a thinner finger) but hot because a female did it.

  • Can't speak to the pap smear thing, as I only have heard some say what they experienced, and mostly it was just uncomfortable, being so exposed.
As for prostrate exams, seems like the doc is more nervous that I was!! No big deal, and doesn't hurt at all, if you just relax, and imagine your girlfriend, suggesting some new 'kink' and her exploring, how he feels! :) Not too much, though, you don't want to get wood with doc's finger in your ass!! :) :)

  • No just uncomfortable. Feels weird. I felt uncomfortable overall. I was so glad I chose a female gynecologist. Other the pap smear I even remember her sticking her finger inside which was uncomfortable as well and asking me about my day and what I study like all of that was normal 😅 I take off my hat to anyone that has a male gynecologist.

  • I don't have a prostate, so I have no idea what that exam feels like. Paps are uncomfortable or slightly painful. It's according to who's doing one. I had a clumsy doctor perform one and it hurt. She said, "You shouldn't be able to feel ANYthing there!" Like I was making it up! I never went to HER again. Get good practitioners.

  • Pap smears aren't painful at all, uncomfortable and awkward feeling if anything. I started getting them not only because I was sexually active, but because I have a history of cancer in my family as well.

    • For your update: it really varies from female to female. If you're a virgin, a smaller speculum would be used to see your cervix. As I've said, it isn't painful for me; I just try to keep my muscles as relaxed as possible so my OBGYN can do the exam. I've recommend this to my friends whom are virgins, and they're all fine with it as well. A pap smear shouldn't be uncomfortable, your healthcare provider should explain the procedure to you and work with you to make the experience as positive as possible. So don't hesitate to ask questions and have her explain things throughly.

  • To me, they are neutral. 🤷🏻‍♀️😐

  • I get a pap done every year. I am probably THE most sensitive person when it comes to this and all I feel is a bit of discomfort. They just use a long Q-Tip to swab the inside. That's it. Your in and out before you know it.

  • I have had a many digital rectal exams of the prostate, an ultrasound of the prostate, and prostate biopsies under general anesthesia. At worst, the biopsies were uncomfortable and the digital exam and ultrasound were minimally uncomfortable. Of course, they are all somewhat embarrassing, especially the biopsies, knowing that five or six people in the operating room - male and female - are looking at your flaccid penis while you are asleep and they are chit chatting and doing the biopsies.

  • Painful and intrusive.

    • Intrusive?

    • Not that painful...

    • It was painful for me too

  • just uncomfortable

  • No pain, but very uncomfortable

  • I have vaginismus so they’re extremely painful. 😤

    • Ya then true

  • For prostate exams, no. There is a slight discomfort but no pain.

  • For me it was definitely uncomfortable but it didn’t hurt

    • Update: no it shouldn’t hurt but to be safe you might want to try what it’s like to use tampons if you haven’t already

  • I would imagine they are more uncomfortable than anything that is unless you have something wrong then they can be painful, or if you are sore or more sensitive in those regions then it could also create discomfort and pain

  • I've been looking for an alternative to pap smears. I really don't want to get one.

    • I think it would be more painful for a virgin

  • Unfortunately most women my age who live in the country won't know because we don't get one until we're 25+. However I had one for health reasons and it hurt at first but just wore off eventually, I think it'll be fine. But defiantly not pleasurable they're trying to hit your damn cervix 😂

  • I haven’t had my butt picked by a doctor, but I’d assume it wouldn’t be painful. A turd is larger then a finger and it doesn’t hurt to poop. It would probably be awkward like when they grab your balls and tell you to cough, but not painful.

  • I have only had one pap smear but it wasn't bad. It felt like a little pinch

    • This is true opinion...👌👌

  • I've never had one.

    • I've read about a lot of false positives and biopsies from women who have no symptoms that go too much. I keep reading that unless you have some type of symptoms you only might need to get one once every five years.

  • Prostate exams lol
Never had one. But when i do. It has to be a female doc
    Lol
    Preferably a blonde
    Thats not married

    Please 😆

  • Smear tests are a little uncomfortable but worth it to know you're safe.

  • I’m scared to get a Pap smear 😬

    • Why coz it hurts... u must fear of speculum right?

    • @asker yes they have to scrape your cervix

    • No but it doesn't hurt...

  • Uncomfortable but not exactly painful.
