How many people use condoms?

I recently got out of a long term relationship and just want some fun now. I started fooling around with a guy and wanted to have sex with him but he didn't have any condoms and I told him that it wasn't gonna happen. He looked at me shocked like what's the big deal and like he's used to going raw with strangers. Needless to say, nothing happened between us. I slept with this other guy instead and made sure I had condoms on me to avoid the awkwardness. Right in the middle of sex, he started going soft and asked if he could take the condom off and I said no way!! He's practically a stranger too but it seemed like he didn't care at all. Why are guys so casual about this? Am I the only one who still uses condoms lol

  • no I think condom use is pretty common , I've noticed a lot of the dollar stores here even sell them now

    kind of agree with you that sex would be a no go with a complete stranger if they refused to wear a condom or use some sort of birth control

    but true there is people who have sex without them , maybe because so many girls are on the pill now and the HIV AIDS epidemic is seen as something from the past even though its still around

  • I think a lot of people don’t use them. A guy I know told me probably 60% of the girls he’s been with let him in bare... and I know a lot of people on Tinder aren’t using protection.

  • My answer may not be useful seeing as I'm a virgin. But I don't understand why anyone wouldt use them. It protects both from STI and pregnancy. I would only consider stopping using a condom in a long term commited relationship provided clean check ups.
