During orgasm, does your body shake or remain still?

Somebody made a poll about whether men or women have better orgasms
Who has better feeling orgasms?
One guy said "women because their whole body shakes."
I was wondering if it's true that there's a gender difference in bodily movement (or lack thereof) during orgasm? Hence this poll.

  • Sex is more than simply penetration. Foreplay can greatly increase the sexual experience in terms of both time and pleasure. Just few seconds of erotic stimulation puts female body into excitement mode. At this point men can become erect and their organ can harden. Orgasms literally make you feel hot. Every part of our body is affected when we reach climax. Having an orgasm feels fantastic and has a range of health benefits. When you reach the big-O your pupils dilate, your breathing gets heavier during an orgasm, and sense of smell improves, produce more saliva during climax due to the parasympathetic nervous system. Having an orgasm makes you feel hot as both body temperature and metabolism rise. Also, the parts of your brain which control pain and orgasm overlap, so when you are actually half as sensitive to any pain when you are climaxing. For ladies, breasts become engorged and they increase in size the hormone prolactin is released. Blood pressure goes up and your heart race soars to over 100 beats per minute.
Yes – I do, but not every time. If I am building toward an intense orgasm, my body often begins quaking as I start getting close. First my legs start trembling uncontrollably, which eventually spreads to my entire body. I tremble like I am freezing cold. I find the experience to be intensely pleasurable my husband.
Each time though I do not have orgasm for a prolonged time, but when I get it, my pussy spasm and made my hips jerk in and out. I almost collapse because my knees are so weak. For me, it is the sign of utmost pleasure. It is the best experience. There is no other joy better than having a perfect orgasm. This is not rare, and always desirable. There is no better feeling that having an orgasm that makes each and every part of your body fill with excitement and pleasure!
It is attractive in a way. I cannot help but feel some pride when I just had sex with him shaking in orgasmic ecstasy thanks to what he had just done for me. It is nice to know he did a good job. I think the reason has to do with the flood of hormones and neurotransmitters that flood our bodies when we orgasm.
When you have sex, you are probably tensing up all of your muscles. When you reach orgasm, you suddenly relax them. Because they have been so tense for so long, they spasm and jerk around when released. That is what is causing you to shake. At least that is the best explanation I have heard.
That is, it does not happen every time, but it does not mean there is something wrong when it does not. There is no particular length of time or number of shakes standard.

  • Well.. For women... It can depend on if your orgasm is from clitoral or vaginal stimulation. I have experienced both and there's a difference... And if I can get an O from both at the same time.. Its great..
Even more intense when you O the same time as your partner!

Women can also more easily expereince multiple orgasms.. While its quite rare for a man to experience that sensation

    • Cumming at the same time makes for an unbelievable orgasm

  • Sorry I didn’t vote cause I’m sure of the right one. I don’t know you’d call it shack. But I do at times jault. And I think it just depends on the lead up to orgasm. For instance during masturbation if I edge myself for a while my body does move uncontrollably. But during sex if I’m the one doing the work then it doesn’t happen. But if I’m laying back not moving while getting ridden then it can happen that way

  • This is really embarrassing 😅 i don't shake but i really tense up and start biting my fingers. Not hard, just nibbling on them 😂

i'm also paranoid my testicles are gonna go IN my body for some reason 🤔

    • did you vote?

    • i just voted "Other" cuz i don't know where this fits as far as "shaking" goes lol

  • It doesn't always shake, I've found that it's highly connected to squirting or no squirting which is also a half/half thing on me.

  • Right before orgasm, my pelvis usually begins urgently thrusting on autopilot. All my muscles become tense. Then there are sudden bucking spasms in my stomach and hips.

  • First of all tge womans entire brain is stimulated by an Orgasm where with men only a small portion of their brain gets stimulated.

For me itvvaries some Orgasms my body shakes and some it stiffens up completely. Either way it's an Amazing Orgasm!!!

    • yea on my final thrust i go in as deep as i can and stiffen up to stay there as long as possible! lol

  • I think my thighs shake.

  • I am a mover and a shaker. Of course it’s not always the same but the real good orgasms I feel from my head to my toes

  • I voted A. Like a roller coaster.

    • Haha that's crazy

  • My whole body shakes while my hips thrust. If missionary, my legs are gripping not allowing him to escape.

    • i love the sound of that! ;)

  • It depends on how good it was.

    • You shake if it's really good?

    • Yeah

  • Usually my entire body shakes uncontrollably.

    • Like pikachu waves😂

  • Parts of it shake, my abs tense up and so do my leg muscles. I dont move around violently but I shake abit I guess :P

I tend to moan and grunt silently aswell haha

  • My legs shake 😂😂😂😂

    • You feel like shit after a seizure , memory is so scrambled you forget who you are.

    • sounds like amazing sex to me! ;)

  • I say a girl has better orgasms then a big does considering a girl can have multiple orgasms where a guy gets a few seconds , usually the first load a guy shoots is the best feeling one then it slowly dies , where a girl can go and go , a guy has to wait to relode lol

  • sshakes alot-vibration mode on

    • Lol wtf

    • sounds like you had amazing sex! lol

  • Thinking this is mostly a girl question.
When I have a good, strong orgasm (rare lately) the first thing I get after I've reached the "I made it, I'm gonna cum" feeling is a brief, full body spasm. It's a lot like the "pee shivers" I got as a teen after puberty except much stronger. Thinking other guys know what pee shivers are. That stops when ejaculation starts.

    • So your orgasm stops after you start ejaculating?

    • I think ejaculating is part of orgasm but the spasm, hot flash or "fuzzing" I get precedes it.

    • Are "pee shivers" pleasurable?

  • My 8 inch penis twitches and pulsates and throbs very hard. Inside the pussy I am so big that most women can feel it when their vaginal walls are wrapped tightly around my cock.

  • It shakes

  • Sometimes my body shakes sometimes i stay still but like a strecthing

    • strecthing?

  • The body will go into an involuntary spasm of approximate 0.80 sec intervals during orgasm. It IS possible to voluntarily control SOME of the extraneous movements, but not the spasms once triggered.

  • A little yes
I voted D, because sometimes it shakes, sometimes it doesn't
