  • Is it weird your child not be able to eat? I never breastfed in public but I don't have a problem with other women who do. Babies are supposed to drink breast milk. That is how we survived for millions of years. Children died during the Katrina hurricane flooding because mothers couldn't get formula to feed their babies. Sometimes there is literally no place to find a private place. I breastfed one time in a bathroom at a graduation venue. That was disgusting and the last time I did that. My child ate every 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. She had a high metabolism. I couldn't plan every feeding. I'll take it back I did breastfeed one time in public. She got hungry on a plane coming back from my grandma's funeral. Luckily I was seated next to another woman and a flight attendant gave me a blanket.

  • You forget that the main reason women have tits is so they could feed their child. Men have sexualized them and forgot their main purpose. Most women cover themselves anyway so I don't see why you should feel uncomfortable.

  • OMG yes, some things other people don't need to see. They can go to the bathroom or somewhere else but not right out in the open for everyone to see

    • Would you feed you child a meal in a bathroom. Bathroom's are so unsanitary to feed one's child. I did it once and it was disgusting. I spent a lot of time in retail store changing rooms.

    • I didn't have to worry about that because my children got their milk from a bottle, so I had no hesitation to feed them any where. Breastfeeding is a choice, if there's restrictions on it then that was her choice. I don't want to see it nor do I want my children to see it

    • I fed my daughter formula too and she drank breastmilk from a bottle. Some people would say I was wrong for giving my daughter formula but I couldn't keep up with how much she drank and it allowed my ex husband to feed her while I was gone because I couldn't pump enough. The thing is we were made to breastfeed so how can there be a restriction on it. It isn't right to shame people who choose to bottle feed so there shouldn't be shame toward people who choose to breastfeed.

  • Hmm, banning women from feeding their hungry babies in public. You know what that sounds like some stupid shit the government would do.

  • They are literally just feeding their babies. Sorry you've been conditioned to only see breasts sexually and think it's weird to see them in any other context, but that's your problem, not the breastfeeding mother's. Don't like it, look away.
If public breastfeeding was banned, that pretty much forces women to stay in their homes after giving birth for 4 months to a year after giving birth so they can feed their babies. Formula is expensive, and has to be prepared in advance. If it goes cold or spills, then you can't feed your baby. Pre-pumped breast milk is the same. Time consuming and limited. But breastfeeding is convenient, free, and always ready whenever your baby gets hungry. Of course it shouldn't be banned

    • I did it privately but it was very stressful and I probably wouldn't have done it that way again. I had to go changing rooms in stores or places like that. I've had female friends who were very disgusted by the thought of breastfeeding and never did it.

    • @sejla I'm sorry it was so stressful

    • No it really wasn't that stressful. I'm just a more private person anyway. I think breastfeeding made a big difference for my child and my ex husband would repeatedly thank me for doing it. I did do formula too because I couldn't keep up with her metabolism so I understand both sides but not the weirdness people have about doing it in public.

  • Hell no. The government should mind their own business. If someone can't handle a woman breastfeeding her baby, the problem is with them, not the woman.

  • Yes, by all means the main thing we need right now is even more government. . . and not just more government, but government ordering a woman how to feed and not to feed her own baby with her own body. . .

  • nope.

  • Sharia? but maybe you should keep going and stop acting like a pervert?

  • Why on earth would the government want to ban breast feeding in public? Are we inundated with crimes caused by breast feeding? We should make laws that encourage breast feeding, because breast feeding makes for healthier children, and thus, healthier adults. And is someone sees a breast as it feeds a baby!!! Horrors!!! Just let mothers be mothers, and babies be babies, and leave them alone.

  • Absolutely not, how totally absurd can that possibly be. smh

  • No... tits are food for babies. Ban public breastfeeding, ban ALL eating in public.

  • So don't watch.

  • Wtf. Yet it’s okay for a man to go shirtless.

  • Yes of course ban them for using their breast for what they're created for. Sarcasm

  • No they shouldn't, there's nothing weird or sexual about naturally feeding your child. It's society that sexualizes breastfeeding and breasts in general.

  • Absolutely not. They can do it discreetly and you don't have to look.

  • Personally, I don't care. Socially I think it draws attention to yourself. So if we find it socially acceptable for guys to stare at the bare naked tits, then I have no issues with the public nudity. Because that's what it is at the end of the day. It's not about feeding the baby in regards to the controversy.

If we're going to give guys shit for looking, then no I'm not for it. Can't have it both ways.

  • No, they should legalize it!!

  • No, hell we should free the nipple.
Anywhere a guy can go topless a girl should be able to as well. And come on a hungry baby is just that hungry.

  • No. Do you realize what tits are for? Besides, at the end of the day, boobs are just thicc pecs.

  • NO NOT AT ALL...
I dont understand whats wrong with people these days how can they sexualise a mum feeding her kids... i mean this is something natural and very beautiful but i don't understand why people go nuts seeing it... i mean haven't they seen or don't they see any breasts in their lives? Or they haven't seen mothers caring for their kids

  • No. Government intrudes enough. Cover your eyes if breast and infants terrify you.

  • No babies need food

  • its fucking natural. all these religouse people that can't handle seeing a baby FED need to fuck off. it takes 25 hours a week to feed a baby, thats a fucking job. they dont have the time to go find a secret spot so you can feel comftorable

    • I actually think a lot of religious people are pro breastfeeding. They would think of it as God's way. It's the people who think that women are the cause of all sin we have to watch out for.

    • @sejla religouse people tend to find any form of exposure as against god, hence the ankle length skirts that are so common.
