as a kid i was never given proper sex education. i had to teach myself a lot and i am now an advocate for detailed sex education is schools. i have challenged myself and now have a very good knowledge of all sex education. do you have any misconceptions or questions about sex education? comment or dm me privately (bc i know sometimes it’s embarrassing) if you have an sexual education questions :)

Well done to you for taking the effort to become knowledgeable. I was lucky that parents always very open about all these normal things. The same in my school.

I agree that everyone should firstly be knowledgeable enough to ensure no unwanted consequences. Then secondly to have the knowledge of how to be a really good lover so that you can give a partner the best pleasure.

My sex ed was pretty good at school and my parents were supportive and filled in any gaps or misunderstandings

it’s fine don’t worry. i’ve just seen to many of my friends get pregnant because they didn’t know enough. one got pregnant bc she only took her birth control on days she had sex. another had her boyfriend wear two condoms for “extra protection.” the friction caused both of them to break. people need to be educated about this stuff because it can lead to some pretty scary stuff

schools don’t teach enough. parents feel “awkward” to get into details. and then they freak out when they become parents

most schools just talk about abstinence. but a bunch of teens in high school aren’t going to not have sex because their sex ed teacher told them not to. they don’t talk about a few important things 1- what to do if you have sex and want to know how to prevent pregnancy and the many options 2- plan b and abortion 3- what to do if you have an unplanned pregnancy 4- what to do when you actually WANT to have a kid 5- detailed human anatomy

of course! message me any time you need. it’s important to learn misconceptions. for example most people believe that wearing two condoms will give “extra protection” but that’s a HUGE myth. the friction between the two will cause them both to break. it’s stuff like that which needs to be taught and talked about
