  • Nope! I am 51 years old, slightly overweight (200 lbs at 5ft 10) and missing my right leg. I would have nothing to gain from posing nude for any reason. I always tease my gal pals saying "I will never let you see me naked, it could cause you to become a lesbian". haha But in all seriousness, I have never nor will I ever pose nude. I use my charming personality to impress people, not my Pillsbury dough boy looks...

  • I am very comfortable with nudity in a relationship but not with nudity with anyone else, so no nude beaches, no naked hot tub parties, no naked pictures. That is the prevalent attitude of my generation.

    I think that being permissive and liberal with public nudity can - at least in the culture of the US - lead to being permissive about other aspects of sexuality and, for me, sex is something that should be reserved for a couple in a committed relationship. In other words, public nudity is a step down a slippery slope and what's at the bottom of the slope is not productive for our culture.

    • @OlderAndWiser I agree with the being sexually liberal and there should be thick lines drawn in the sand. However, I help pay for school modeling at photography conventions so I lost some shame along the way I would guess also 🌺

  • I would not mind doing an arty or subtle/sexy pose but would not be interested in an overt pose. I think it depends on who wants to see it, I would not really be bothered myself but a partner might or might not like it.

  • I've taken nudes of a few girls, I'm a professional visual artist. It's a lot of fun, but also a challenge to be objective when you have chemistry with the other person. But that's when you get the best images. ;)

I had a lovely lady, and we dated for more than a year, when I was learning, exploring film photography, just monochrome (Black and White) and we enjoyed sharing the development process, in my makeshift darkroom, and she loved seeing the images of her develop in the chemical baths!! One of the best times of my life!!

    • I took a few classes at a community college, on Monochrome Film Photography, just about the time digital was becoming a REAL thing! I loved it, as "ART" and how you had to know exposures, and lighting, and then develop the film, and print images! I was dating a delightful lady, and she loved how I was so interested in it, and, well, she liked the 'darkroom' sometimes for OTHER reasons!! :) :) I found my 'style' which is contrast, of HARSH and soft. I found Concrete, and rough wood, and then found an old National site with gun emplacements, and rusted metal, century-old concrete, and loved making images of these, with the right lighting!! She decided she wanted to be part of 'My Art' and it changed, for her, because we were dating, and she posed for me, mostly clothed, but just sensually draped, not really showing anything, but suggesting, against the harsh background of the rust and concrete!!
