Yes, in fact every one nigh stand I ever had - 3 in all. Mostly because it was a spur of the moment thing and I was simply not prepared. Also because I want sex to be natural and rubber does not lend itself to a feeling of naturalness.

To be fair, I did get one of the women pregnant. She miscarried however and I did not even know she had been pregnant with my child until years later. It was only by a happenstance set of circumstances that I found out.

Also, I have gotten two other women pregnant. My current girlfriend with whom I have three children - they are the center of my universe. Prior to that another girlfriend who had an abortion without telling me. It was the most painful experience in my life and - I won't lie - still hurts me to this day. I failed as a father and only wish I could tell my baby how sorry I am.

My attitude toward sex was always - from the first time I had a pregnancy scare with a girlfriend when I was 16 and still in high school - that if I got a woman pregnant I would stand by the woman and take care of her and love my baby. (In fact, when my one girlfriend told me she was considering having an abortion, I begged her not to. I told her I would pay all the bills and would adopt the baby and she would never have to see him or her again - or me - if she did not want to. It did not matter, she had an abortion anyhow.)

To me sex is natural and instinctive and stopping to put on a condom - though I have done it, don't get me wrong - undermined that feeling. In the case of my one night stands it just so happened that each case it was more a matter of a "spur of the moment" than any deliberate avoidance of birth control.

However, no doubt, with my current girlfriend and I - already with three children - we are so slipshod about birth control that it is a wonder that we don't have ten children. Still, if my girlfriend told me tomorrow that she was pregnant, you would not be able to wipe the smile off my face.

Yes. I had a vasectomy. I am free from diseases. So I will not cause harm.
If harm is given to ME - guess what... I know that risk.
It's my decision.
I don't collect my sexual partners in the gutter. So I am reasonably safe.
