I am mostly wanting to know what girls think, but guys can answer as well. Also when (at what age) did you start masterbating? Have you ever felt shame before/during/or after masterbation? I know female masterbation is not really that much talked about, at least not as much as male masterbating is. I was 16 years old when I first trying doing it and with time kinda got the hang of it. I think around 15 is when I figured out that also females are able to masturbate and not only guys can. I think there is a bit a lack of sex education for teen at least in America and the school systems. So it took me a while to figure out that female masterbation was a thing and at first I felt too weird and scared to try it, it kinda felt wrong at first and that I shouldn't be doing it. But now I know that it is something perfectly natural and normal to do. I asked the question above because well as an 18 year old masterbation is really the only sexual thing I have ever done (never had a first kiss, made out, had a relationship, or had sex). And at times I don't necessarily know myself what to think about or what I am thinking about. And I don't watch porn. I don't know if this is weird, but I at times watch penile examinations and prostate exams on YouTube while doing me. I don't know if maybe the awkwardness of those video turns me on? I'm not sure. Maybe because I still see stuff, but not to the intensity of porn. Maybe it makes me feel like it's not as bad or intense as watching porn. I don't have a problem with others watching porn, as long as they are not addicted to it, but maybe I am just scared of watching it myself. First: no shame in watching pornography. Find the kind of porn that turns you on: rule 34 is actually true (if it exists there is porn of it).

Third: don't have sex until you really want to have sex, like REALLY want to, like you are going to explode and can't think of anything but how good you think sex is going to make you feel.

Fourth: this is the most important one, don't have sex until you think you can handle the awkward afterwards. You're going to feel like you don't know what to say or what to do when you're done that first time. Past if you will want to run screaming, part of your will want to sleep, party of you will want to talk as long as it's about anything other than the sex you just had. Nobody ever tells you about that part.

Fifth: use lube, you WILL need it. So will he. Condoms usually come prepared with it which helps.

Sixth: be ready to laugh reassuringly at yourself and your awkwardness during you're first time. If you can't laugh at the sex your having and the learning you're doing, you aren't ready.

Seventh: sexy is sweaty, wet, and messy. Keep towels handy.

Eighth: sex is hard work, keep water nearby, your going to need it.
