None whatsoever since I don't practice that type of activity.
I feel so much more free not having to be the slave of a birth control or to have to perform and deliver against my will.
It is so rewarding to be free of all those obligations and constraints. I can only recommend this type of approach.

@Cherokeehp since guys categorically refuse to take any contraceptive, girls are becoming the slaves of that duty if they need to have sex. Perform and deliver means that girls are judged by what they must do to satisfy and guy sexually.

Sex can and should be enjoyable for everyone involved. It shouldn’t be a performance. And I don’t think any woman is a “slave” to birth control. Some women take it for acne. Some take it because it can help with ovarian cysts or endometriosis. Some women take it to regulate their periods. Some women take it just because they want to have sex without getting pregnant. It takes 3 seconds out of my morning routine to take my pill. Even though I trust that my boyfriend will use protection, I take the pill because it gives me an added sense of security. For a lot of women birth control makes them feel secure and improved their quality of life.

@Cherokeehp I was referring to being a slave of the birth control only in the case of intercourse and not if it is prescribed for other ailments. And since most guys categorically refuse to use a condom, they subject you to be the slave of BC. And that is why, among other things, I don't have intercourse. I refuse to be subjected to something I don't want just because others are too coward to protect themselves. And sex would be an obligation and constraint to me if I was in a relation.

As you get older, you'll find men who are all too happy to use a condom because it's responsible and they want to have sex with you worry free. Use the mucous method. It's very accurate, requires nothing but knowledge of your body's functions to know when you're most fertile and restraint on your part to NOT have sex about 10 days a month. You sound like a good candidate.

@Screenwriter Thanks for your valuable info. Perhaps I should have been clearer with my original reply. I am not interested in sex and that is why I am not using any kind of BC. This is an activity that repulses me and I am perfectly fine with not being sexual. I have gotten pretty good at suppressing those useless libido peaks. I live a fulfilled life without the stress of having to be sexual.

If you’re asexual then that’s perfectly fine, but I think you’re making insane assumptions about birth control, sex, and people who use birth control. Most people enjoy sex, and they don’t mind taking preventative measures to avoid having an unplanned baby.

@FrostyCharlotte25 It is true that a great number of people say anything, just for the sake of saying something but often don't even mean what they say. I try to stay true to my beliefs and that position has given me a lot of trolling comments because I tend to go against the mainstream with my opinions. As a matter of fact, I like it when people downvote me because that proves that I have hit a very sensitive string and that people, rather than to voice their arguments (which often they don't have) take the easy way to downvote an opinion. To me that is just lack of courage and a reflection of the state of our society.

Same, I have posted many opinions on these things in my two weeks here so far... I just can get really down whenever someone is negative and believe what is so wrong and hurting themselves so badly. One time, I even cried. I guess I'm just really effected by other people's energy, and I'm pretty easily depressed by the little things already. Considering my fragile mental health, and even more fragile spirit, now that I think about it, maybe it's better if I back people up and support those who've already said the truth, than posting my own opinions and defending myself from attacks on my own. Does that make sense? Also, when I said earlier that I was just being lazy, I realize now that I just don't want the emotional pain (and occasionally, anger) involved in doing so. It's awesome that you can state your opinions, and rise above self doubt, etc, but I believe I'm better suited to backing those like you up... Does this all make sense? Let me know...

@FrostyCharlotte25 The important thing is never to take things that are being said here on GAG personally because I know for a fact that a very large number of people are here solely to troll and demean others. As a matter of fact, a great number of guys take the pink female label for that very purpose and to try to get the girls to become friend and share some nudes. I have experienced it myself and that is why I do no befriend anyone and nor do I accept any follow requests. I have also set my profile to private and disabled the friend requests. If you have a fragile mental health, please do yourself a favor and leave GAG. This place will harm you if you take everything that is said so seriously. But backing up other peoples' opinions will not place you on safe grounds because those trolls/spammers will attack you just the same.

@Cherokeehp I have been on it for 12 years. Definitely understand your point. But starting to agree with Sue. It does something to the mind. Puts you in invisible handcuffs you forget after a long time. And just take the pill everyday like you’d brush your teeth or go toilet. You forget how it’s not a natural thing to put into your body at all. Hoping to come off soon but my body is so dependent of it now. Freaky how they convince us it’s something good for us. When really it’s the billion dollar pharma industry it’s good for.

I'm not using any since I'm single and therefore I don't have that need to use it. Also, maybe if I ever get married, I will not also use them since I want children (given that my partner is clean by the way!)... and if I don't find a partner, I will do the unnatural thing and go to a sperm bank!
I have had a Mirena hormonal IUD for quite some time. I am on my 4 IUD. They are replaced every 5 years. I love not having periods.

I was taking the pill but I started to gain weight, hair growth increased and I started to get dizzy and nauseous all the time so I stopped. Haven't got my period back. I want to put on a Mirena DIU how are you liking it so far? I don't want to get the implant in the arm because I haven't met a sigle girl that hasn't got terrible symtoms.

Implant i got my implant 2019 11th September and it runs out 2022 11th September so not long to go and its finished there really good jst a jag tube in your left arm and it last for 3 years its great it is possible it messes with periods and mood reactions but it's not that bad i suppose it can happen to some people and it can't but it was safer for me much more better to
