Voted "rough sex," but in a certain sense.

My girlfriend and I - we have lived together for over a decade and have three children together - tend to a "rough" sex. Not, however, in the way that is normally defined, i. e., BDSM, "chains and whips" and that sort of thing.

Rather, in a very primal sense. With me as the alpha male in nature, being dominant and my girlfriend as the submissive female. There is plenty of licking and I tend to the "on-top" positions. There is even some biting and scratching.

We like sex where we are just like two animals breeding in a field. She presents to me and I mount her and plant my seed in her for her to be impregnated by me and carry my offspring. I penetrate her and thrust hard and deep as she whimpers and moans and we both breath hard and sweat. I lose control of my body as my muscles spasm and - as my girlfriend likes to say - my penis takes control of me.

It is a very instinctive sex, but it becomes deeply romantic in its way. Here I am, little more than a beast. I am nothing but my most primal and base instincts and yet my girlfriend is trusting me and giving herself to me and totally accepting me and the most basic thing I as a man have to give - my sperm, my seed.

There she is, little more to me than a piece of meat. Her sole purpose is to bear young. Yet she looks at me as a protector. The sex is kind of rough but I am merely showing her that I have chosen her above all other women to carry my child and that I would fight any rival male and ward off any predator to hold her and keep her. Indeed, that the roughness of the sex shows her how desperately I need here.

It is an odd dynamic, and there are times when we are more obviously tender and soft and when we even switch it up and she becomes the dominant. However, our best sex is - weird as it sounds - are rough sex. Yet, as I say, not the artificial sex of bondage and whips, but the natural sex that comes to two animals reduced to our most basic. Yet, because we are, it is the most fundamental and loving.

Suffice to say, my life would be nothing without this beautiful woman, who selflessly accepts me inside her and who has given me three beautiful little gifts who call me "Daddy." Depends on my mood and the mood of the girl. Normally rough though, but after a romantic meal, it feels wrong to be rough so slower intimate sex is better.
